ISACA Abuja Chapter's Tribute to Late Mr. Pius Adie Apuye.
“For everything, there is time” as it is written. Once upon a time, Mr. Pius Adie Apuye was celebrated among us; today he is mourned; such is life. Until his death, Mr. Apuye was a Gold member of ISACA Abuja Chapter, which is the second highest level of ISACA membership.
Besides membership, Mr. Apuye possessed three (3) ISACA certifications – CISA, CISM and CGEIT which made him speak authoritatively everywhere in matters relating to information systems audit, security, IT governance and risk management.
Mr. Apuye was a regular participant at ISACA Abuja monthly General Meetings where he made several resourceful and insightful contributions. Apart from general meetings, Mr. Apuye was a known participant at all ISACA Abuja events, including our famous GRC Workshops and Annual Conferences.
Mr. Pius Apuye, though was one of the elderly and well experienced members of ISACA, yet related with us young professionals as if we were mates.
- Mr. Apuye will be missed by all ISACA Abuja members;
- His resourceful contributions at meeting, workshops and conferences will be missed;
- His words of encouragement to the younger professionals will be missed.

Mr. Pius Apuye, though you have gone from our sight, yet, you remain in our hearts. Though we sorrow today over your sudden departure, yet, we shall rejoice when we see your face again at Jesus’ feet. You will certainly be remembered by what you have done in ISACA Abuja Chapter.
