PRENTISE BEEBE, JR. (07.15.1927 - 04.04.2020)

Prentise Beebe, Jr. was born to Pearl M. (Scott) Beebe and Prentise E. Beebe in Ames, Nebraska on July 15, 1927.

He was a loyal son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather  He married his loving wife of 64 years, Betty A. (Torczon) Beebe, on February 11, 1956.

On October 19, 1961, Prentise and Betty, established Beebe Construction Company, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska, which they led for 60 years.

Father of four children and a friend to many, he inspired people through his love, unwavering values, wit, and humor.

Known by friends as “Peanuts”, his lifelong passion for farming and livestock began as a child in Ames during the Great Depression years.

He served his country with dignity and honor during the Korean War as a  Corporal in the U.S. Army from March 16, 1951 to
March 16, 1953.

He is forever missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
