Her Life

Primose May Walker was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 27, 1944 to parents Evadney Henry and Roy Taylor.  She attended Rose Dale Early Childhood School, then moved on the Swallowfield All Age School.  At the age of 15, Primose decided to learn the skill of dressmaking.  She excelled in this field and very soon had setup her business as a dressmaker in the Whitehall Avenue Area of Kingston.

During this time Primrose met the love of her life, Frank Walker and  in 1960 their first child -  Carlton Walker was born, they continued to multiply with 5 more children, Robert, Courtney, Neville, Sharon and Jennifer.

The family lived at 14 Whitehall Avenue where most of the children had thier formative years until they purchased a house at 4 Eros Place, Queensbury in 1974.  Unfortunately, the marriage ended in a divorce, however, Primose continued to sacrifice unconditionallty to her children and saw them through high school, college, university and marriage.
