God sees when the footsteps all falter; when the pathway has grown to steep,

Then he touches the weary eyelids and gives his dear ones sleep.

Mr. Prince Lincoln “Bo” McFarlin was born February 12, 1948 in Chambers County, AL to the late George and Ollie Thompson McFarlin. He departed his life on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, AL.

Prince accepted Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age and joined the Cannan Baptist Church, Welch, AL.

Bo”, as he was called by many, was a member of the class of 1967 Phillips High School, Five Point, AL.

He was united in Holy Wedlock to the late Mrs. Peggy Davidson McFarlin. Into this union they parented four children.

Prince was preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie Zellars, Julia P. McFarlin; four brothers, Eddie, Peter, Charles, and John Harold McFarlin, and a very special aunt, Julia Kate Heath.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter Rachelle(Willie) Brooks, Lanett, AL; three sons, Desmond McFarlin, Destin McFarlin and Patrick Gates, LaGrange, GA; six grandchildren, Tamiya Brooks, Lanett, AL; Shamiya Brooks, Houston, TX, Dazman McFarlin, West Point, GA, London Gates, LaGrange, GA and LaDestiney McFarlin, Lanett, AL, Zyniah Turner, West Point, GA; three sisters, ,Beatrice(Jimmy) Allen, Fredonia, AL; Martha Griffin and Luella M. Williams, Lanett, AL; eight sisters-in-law, Jimmie Lou McFarlin, LaFayette, AL, Linda(Charles) Winston, Brooklyn, NY, Betty Jackson, Houston, TX, Vera(Neal)Winston, West Point, GA; Gloria Jones, LaGrange, GA; Nancy McFarlin, Ozark, AL, Angela(Mark) Davidson, Atlanta, GA; Cindy Dix, Valley, AL; one brother-in-law, Vernon Avery, West Point, GA; three cousins reared as siblings Robert (Davetta) Heath, Jr., Edward(Dorothy) Heath, Lanett, AL, Jewel(William)Oliver, Roanoke, AL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relative and friends; a dear and special friend, Charlene Ogletree, West Point, GA; special friend, Arthur Rowe, Lanett, AL
