Appreciation :
The entire Ikulayo family greatly appreciates the support of well meaning people who stood by us during the agonising moments of grief of the loss of the matriarch of the Ikulayo family, the late Prof P B Ikulayo who was finally enterred into the mother Earth on Friday the 8th of April 2016. We appreciate both your emotional, financial and spiritual support.
Names are too numerous to be listed. Our prayer is that the God Almighty will grant the Departed Eternal rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Once again, we say thank you for standing by our family. God Almighty will spare your household untimely deaths.
Chief Alfred Ikulayo

BY SPORT PSYCHOLOGY ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA ( SPAN )
An ICON has gone!
A LEGEND has departed!
The news of your demise came to us as a rude shock, an unbelievable tale
But alas! It is true
Professor (Mrs.) Philomena Bola Ikulayo is no more
Mama SPAN has gone home to rest
You conceived the idea of starting a professional association, discussed it with people of like minds and brought it to realities.
Sport Psychology Association of Nigeria ( SPAN ) was your brain child.
You led it for for the first thirteen years of its existence.
You never relented in your efforts to ensure SPAN was fully established.
You attended and participated in ALL the national conferences of SPAN when you were the President and after you left office.
We were together in Minna 2015 at the celebration of the 30th anniversary of SPAN.
We were all looking forward to seeing you at Lagos State University (LASU) this year,
but your maker has decided to take you away from us when we were least ready to release you.
Who are we mortals to question our creator?
Your love for and dedication to SPAN will forever be remembered and appreciated.
You took the issues of Sport Psychology beyond the shores of Nigeria.
You made your mark internationally
We have indeed lost a visionary leader, a motivator, an icon, a dogged fighter
We will keep the flag of SPAN flying as a mark of honour for your contributions to the growth of the association.
Adieu the legendary Mama of SPAN.
We all miss you.
Professor Lanre Ipinmoroti
National President
Sport Psychology Association of Nigeria ( SPAN )
She was a beautiful and studious woman. Kind and attentive. She raised 5 beautiful children who have grown to become wonderful adults, my cousins.
Aunty, though you are no longer on this mortal coil know that your legacy lives on in those that you left behind, those that your wisdom touched, those that you raised and are now raising children of their own.
Will miss you dearly rest in peace!
All my love
Denis Falade.
May God give her eternal rest.
God bless you all.
My fondest memory of you was your first visit to our home and you taught me the value of showing affection to those i love (find a nickname for your husband.. she said). You always showed affection and embraced me as your own. I love you so much mum and i wish i could tell you that now. But I know you rest in the bosom of the father. A place of peace.
It was an honour to know you....
Your legacy lives on....
Princess
Thanks for always making time to come and visit us. You are a shining star and we love you.
Rest in peace
Love David and Karis
You will be greatly missed.
No farewell words were spoken and no time to say goodbye to the family before you closed your eyes. You were gone before we even knew it.
Sister , it is very painful. You were a Godly woman and a devoted Catholic, Very hard working, a precious jewel. Your life is a reflection and worthy of emulation. You have enriched the lives of all who have known you.
The Falade family will miss you and we will forever miss you, but we take consolation in Christ Jesus that we shall meet to part no more. This has been truly a passing of an icon.

I want to say thank you for encouraging me for all of the years you were with us. They were wonderful years and they were great because you were always smiling. You achieved great things during the years you were with us. Thank you for being a great grandmother and always thinking about us. I love you and will miss you dearly.
