Aunty Daisy, that was not the plan!
I remember you as a silent but strong constant all my growing up years. A listening ear and a kind heart. In the white car or in our sitting room, you always had something reassuring to say and a warm, gentle smile.

They will be glad to see you again.
I will miss you, I already do.

                    Love, Ima girl

Aunt Daisy,
I cannot believe you are gone.
You always had a kind word for me, and I'm grateful for the times we spent together.
You remain one of the voices of my childhood and you are sorely missed.
Rest in His love, and say hello to Dad for me.

The remembering of the times of mentoring in that class forces tears and uncontrollable expression of emotions. Words cannot express her value. She was just God given and God sent- a good representation of her ancestry. She reminds us that life is for impact. She waved the goodbye at each time and place but it has just dawned. Adieu Mama.

Prof, Your home going is a very painful one. Your life is a voluminous book. You were a person of great impact and touched many lives.
The legacies you left behind will continually speak for you. Though painful, your death is a great blessing.
'Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.' (Revelation 14:13).
You have indeed laboured. Your day of rest has come. Rest on Mother in Israel. It will soon be resurrection morning when we shall meet to part no more.
