Audit group at National University of Iran

September 18, 2020
Farshid was my teacher of the auditing unit in the National University of Iran. He gave us an assignment about company accounts. I naively set up a group of class students and for the first time and delivered the project by group work posing all other individual presentations. He liked that presentation. Since then, onward, we became friend. At that much that he trusted me before his immigration to New Zealand. He disclosed it to me in private about his migration in a night that I went to college to pick up my wife.
He was unhappy about dogmatic people (a sect of religious people) who picked on him why he used perfumes (Taft exactly)!
Farshid did the best translations and editions in accounting, inclusive of cost accounting for Iran then. To me, he is the second father of Science of Accounting in Iran after Dr Sadjadinejad. I was so sad when I heard then why he wanted to leave and why good people of Iran are going. Now, it is more heartbreaking to see that he has left us. I am in shock even being informed this late. By the way, my wife also was his student then too.
Shahla, and other remainders and family members, our sympathies are with you, Sara and Hannah.
