Member of the Baham Commnity in Bamenda and the United State of America, His dynamic and progressive nature made him the successor of his late father where he acquire the traditional title of "Tem bouh". He was a member of several associations including the retired gendarmes association, the “Know your neighbor” mile three Nkwen.
Pa will be remembered for his high sense of humor, very strict disciplinarian, his generosity in all aspect. Above all a loving husband and a wonderful father who ensured all the children and all those he raised had an excellent status.
Daddy was physically and psychological healthy until 1984 when he was diagnosed with diabetes. The situation aggravated in 2006 and in 2008 he travelled to USA for further treatment. As years passed, other complications set-in until his glorious transition.
In 1968 Protus Wambo got Married to Regina Kunchu with whom he lived until his journey ended on the 24th of August 2016. He brought to life 10children but raised countless number of children within and out of the family cycle.
The status to which he raised these children granted him visas to Great Britain, Canada and various states in USA where he finally passed away.
The knowledge pa Wambo acquired enabled him to serve his country in various capacities including:
Community Development Victoria as a motor Mechanic;
Buea South West Region Gendarmerie as a Mechanic;
Garoua North Region Gendarmerie at the Cartridges fabrication center;
Bafoussam West Region Gendarmerie Garage as a Mechanic where he retired as a “Senior Warrant Officer (Adjoundant Chef) in 1996
His quest for knowledge took him to the following schools:
Roman Catholic Mission School Mankon Bamenda where he obtained the first School leaving Certificate from the Education department of Nigeria in 1958 Government Trade Centre Ombe River, Victoria West Cameroon where he obtained a certificate of Apprenticeship in Motor Mechanic in December 1963 Gendarmerie training Center Yaoundé where he obtained “Certificat D’aptitude Technique N° 2 as Gendarme Major in January 1966 Further studies in France in 1972, Belgium in 1976, where he studied how to fabricate cartridgesBorn in a Roman Catholic family, he stayed a firm and commited Roman catholic Christian. He was baptised on the 29th of May 1939, received Holy Communion, on the 14 August 1949 and the sacrement of Confirmation on the 12th of May 1952. He got married on the 30th of November 1968.
Amongst other activities in the church, he served as a catechist and a member of the choir in the Garoua parish under the reign of Archbishop Tumi and thereafere, he was a member of the St Thomas Aquinas' Small Christian Community St Paul Pastoral Zone Nkwen, Bamenda Archdiocese.

Second child in a family of Five, Protus Wambo was born on the 6th of March 1939 in Mankon Bamenda of Pa Mathias Nkwam and Mami Rufina Quisih both of blessed memory.
