Mrs. Queen Ester Owens of Goodwater, Alabama died October 16, 2011.

Mrs. Queen Esther Thomas Owens was born March 26,
1927 to Charlie and Louise ln Talladega, Alabama.

She moved to Goodwater in 1954.

She later united with Cross Key Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithful for many, many years.

She participated in Mission Circle and Choir.

She later married Mr, Booker T, Owens who preceded her in death.

She made her transition early Sunday morning, October 16, 2011.

Mrs, Owens leave to cherish her memories: Three children: Ms. Patricia Saunders of Goodwater, AL; Rev. Adonis (Eva) Thomas of Kellyton, AL; Mrs, Debra(Johnny) Thomas Patterson of Sylacauga, AL. Twelve grandchildren: Christopher Thomas, Kim Thomas, Angela Thomas, Evoris (Barbara) Thomas, Felicia Bagley, Feceethia Ware, Charmaine Thomas, Andrea Thomas, lmesia Thomas, Conbralius Thomas, Ashia Thomas, Adalius (Sherri) Thomas, Twenty-four (24) great-grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Queen E. Owens will be Friday, October 21, 2011 at Cross Key Baptist Church at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow at Macedonia Memorial Gardens.
