Quincy D. Tanner, 54 of Centerville, Ohio, went to sleep in death on December 28, 2023. Quincy was born on October 26, 1969 to the late Norman and Virginia Tanner. Quincy is survived by his mother, Virginia, his loving wife of 29 years Anita, his son, Quincy and two daughters, Shimika and Angelina Hines. One brother, Victor (Michelle) Tanner. He had eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Quincy had four best friends that he would talk to daily. Chris Allen, Tige McClodden, David Washington, and Keith Oliver. He would call them at least five or six times a day and send pictures of crazy looking clothes, talked about motorcycles and cars, and “Yep” one another (an expression/game they played with each other since childhood), basically just shooting the breeze with each other. Quincy worked at Dayton Progress for 35 years. He was well liked by his workmates. He had three workmates that he especially loved and would call daily. Don Ponder, Mark Richardson and Paul Schoolcraft.
Quincy was an auctioneer and loved selling any and everything. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t sell. Quincy was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was always sending people information about the bible. Quincy and Anita were married for 29 years. He was a good husband. He went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of her and ensured she had everything she needed and wanted. He will be dearly missed by all.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 - 2 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1530 N. James H. McGee Blvd Dayton, Ohio. Zoom tie in is available as well.

To know quincy was to love him. He had an infectious smile and laugh that would automatically draw you in to know why he was smiling or laughing so hard. It's sad to know that I will not be able to see his smile again. His heart was even bigger than his smile. Prayers to his family for loosing a good guy, friend, Co worker, husband, and father. Until we see you again.

Quincy my brother!! One of the nicest guys anyone could ever meet, he would go out of his way to help someone who was in need, Quincy was so funny that he could have been a comedian, but what stands out to me the most is that he loved Jehovah with all his heart.
We will see him soon.

The joy and laughter growing up with each other as kids to our crazy wild times in high school. Mere words can’t express the love I have for my cousin. Your smile will stay with us all and laughter ring in our hearts not to be forgotten.
