Wow! So many memories of me and my brother! I remember (vaguely) being probably 5 or 6 years old, I was picked on (of course being the baby- youngest out of 4). I got one chance to pay Quincy back for something. He was laying on the living room floor watching wrestling (on his stomach). I jumped on his back, pulling his hair (gheri curls are hard to grip by the way) and crying like it was "no tomorrow". Of course, Momma and Rachel was uncomfortably laughing.

At about 9 years old, Quincy wrote my first rap song. We practiced it about 3 or 4 times and then, it was performed in front of mommy and Aunt Batavia (I believe). I am far from a rapper but he made me feel like the next up and coming superstar!

I remember shooting at birds with Quincy's bee bee gun (No, we didn't hit any! Our skill was definitely not aim or hunting).

I remember Quincy starting selling candy to the neighborhood kids, one time, he finally let me help with the freeze cups and Now And Later candies. I was so excited! We were later robbed late at night but I felt a bit safer because he was there.

I remember riding in his SUV just listening to him rap to 2Short, 2Pac, Emenim, and Kanye West. One comment that he made was "Kanye is going to make millions one day". This was when Kanye first came out, before anyone even hear of him. For some reason, Quincy could "scope" out talent before anyone else that I knew!
One sound in particuar that stands out is Blackstreet- Don't leave me. He would "belt" this song. It didn't sound the best but at least I was in his presence to be able to cover my ears.

I remember going over to his apartment and helping make his T-shirts in hopes to launch Cre-8-Away Enterprises. I was listening to him speak about politics, his children, religion and an array of other topics. I remember thinking, "He is so smart! I'm so proud that he is my big brother."

I remember Quincy and I jokingly telling Leah that she was adopted and we found her in the trashcan. Leah believed it for a while until she got a little older and figured out, we look too much alike. She later started not to believe us!

No one else may get our sense of humor but some jokes and laughter is an inside thing. Somethings that only siblings can laugh to.

I feel like it was no too long afterwards, I remember listening to Macy Gray- Time Of My Life and The Winans- Count it all Joy without my big brother...at his funeral.

Quincy taught me to love while I still have time. Family comes first and work hard even when you don' necessarily feel like it. Gone too soon but God knows best.

Live-Love-Laugh. Time goes so fast. Q... be right there next to Jesus once my time is up here on earth. Thanks for all of your memories. I love you big brother! Love, Ellori
