You girls make me so happy!

June 2, 2015

While visiting Mom for a whole week in October of 2014, we were taking selfies. With her robust laughter, she would say, "you girls make me so happy". During this timeframe, our Mother, Granddaughter and Daughter relationship was the best time I can ever remember while being at her side. We shared so many feelings, expressed our hearts ♥ and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. I could never in this world ask for a better Mother than the one I was given.

I'm so proud of my Mom. She endoured so many complications, heartaches and so much more in her lifetime. Mom mentioned to me some deep secrets before she passed, some having to do with family and more of the hardships.  But, she never once admitted how much pain she suffered, because her pain made her the strong and robust character of a mother that gives me the strength I need to carry on. I know she shed a lot of tears, probably hiding in her room, or the bathroom, or maybe even in the closet.  Who knows, but I know her for being strong and in the end, she was very happy as you can tell by her recent photos.

Not until now, can I understand why she loved Pops so much. He did love her, and stood by her side through thick and thin.  Mom was a wife, mother and grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Mom knew Pops was taking good care of her, and while doing so they both went through so much together. Although there were many losses of ones they lost, they also gained a great number of loved ones.  Her grandkids, greats and great-greats.

I love and miss you Mom more than words can ever be expressed. We will be together again and start where we left off.

Sleep with the angels Mom. Love you.
