Remembering Rajendra Rana - Forever Missed
Dear All, Please Share Your Memories, photos, videos and Tributes on this Website.
This memorial website has been created in memory of dearest Rajendra Rana who sadly passed away unable to return from the cruel COVID 19 Virus which took his life away from us.
It is so sad and shocking and things will never be the same again without him. I believe that I speak for all who knew him. He has been in our lives, touched our hearts with happiness and goodness, a legacy to life and the generous fine qualities of his wonderful family who let him shine and share the qualities with us.
Such a nice person, a wonderful human being. But Raj was more than that. We each have our own memories of him. To me, Raju was my ‘family’, I grew up with him, his twin brother, his loving Sisters, we spent our childhood together. We played in West Ham Park, their garden, throughout the six week holidays. Being a girl, I learnt so many things from him and his twin brother such as the names of cars and how to recognise them, the rules of cricket, how to bowl, how to put caps in toy guns. We played cops and robbers, watched Joe 90 and Batman at their house, Randall and Hopkirk, Z Cars and so much more. Everything they had, ate or brought was shared with me. I never felt sad or left out.
Over the years, we went our own paths but whenever we had a chance meeting, we were ‘family’ again. He really was a wonderful person with the kindest heart, always happy and positive. He liked to see people happy and see them enjoy life. He made the impossible, possible - if it was possible.
For my 21st Birthday Party, he drove me and my friends to the venue in his Jaguar because we did not have transport plans being all dressed up.
Always smiling, cheerful, asking after all the family and remembering each one. Even a few weeks before he went into hospital, he texted me to ask about how Mum, Ichamasi was doing as he heard that she had been unwell.
To me Raj, Raju was my family, my cousin, my brother, my relative, my friend. I am so so sad and really shocked at hearing that he passed away. I couldn’t believe it because he was so strong and positive and I just never imagined that this would happen. I am devastated.
He has left a huge empty gap, a space that will always make us miss him, forever. But we will never forget his lovely qualities and legacy for living life and all his goodness. We will think of him often, talk and share our memories and hope that when we will pass away, we might be lucky enough to meet him, perchance in Heaven if God permits.
Thank you Rajendra, I am blessed to have known you. May you safely reach the gates of Heaven. May your soul, rest in peace. Sleep well.

A poem tribute from me to you Raj
Dear beautiful angel Raju..
The irreplaceable one too
You had traveled the world with us
Kind, sweet, always without fuss
It’s hard to come to terms with this
Your being we are going to so miss
Forget you, we would never
As you’ll live in our hearts forever
Your presence was bright
You lit each day and night
Without you a part of us has gone
We miss our angels light that once shone
Raj you left us too soon, we didn’t have a clue
We were so blessed to have had spent time with you
Your footsteps untraceable yet left behind
You were one in a billion, only one of a kind

Living fully in the moment
Rajendra Singh Rana’s Journey.
What is it that takes a man from humble origins literally around the world, to an incredible number of very interesting places to learn, to build wonderful familys, to make and maintain many many friendships , to experience a vast array of wonderful sights and sounds…
And accomplish extra ordinary things .
Looking at a bigger picture of Rajubhai’s
Life through his multitude of incredible journeys, that will have the most lasting effect on us.
Great soul , big hearted, Joyful,
Loving unconditionally, who had time to spare for everyone in his path
Live in the moment
Relish moments of laughter and love.
Life is a journey, not a destination
Live in the moment
Power to transform a simple life and live the life of your dreams.
Live in the moment
Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have .
Live in the moment
Depth of vision in life
I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
Live in the moment
Spread kindness, caring, and compassion and create your own paradise. Infuse it with joy and you’ve created heaven on earth. Choose wisely and

RIP
I only new Raj for a few years through holidays shared in Morocco. He was a fun guy, good company, loved seeing new and different places. He kept his friends close and enjoyed life. He will be missed RIP Ray.
Sweet, special memories of Raj will always make me smile
If only you could come back, even for a little while
We could sit and talk like we used to do
You always meant so much, and forever will do too
The sad thing that you are no longer here, causes such pain
Yet, You'll live forever in my heart until we meet again
If only you could come back, even for a little while
We could sit and talk like we used to do
You always meant so much, and forever will do too
The sad thing that you are no longer here, causes such pain
Yet, You'll live forever in my heart until we meet again
We met for one drink, little did I know that the friendship would blossom. Your smile, your laugh, generosity, always making yourself available at any hour and being a true friend full of love and laughter. Loved to hear your stories, experiences and just putting the world to right.
Deeply saddened and will miss you immensely. Wish this journey wasn't a one way ticket. May our paths cross again. Love and huge hugs, keep smiling and partying wherever you are. Om shaanti xxx

Zoom Meetings - Day 4: Valentine’s Days- A loving Angel to Cherish
Attending the zoom meetings for prayers, comfort and remembrance, I have seen, heard and learnt that everyone is finding the loss of Raj too upsetting. Everyone is extremely shocked and so sad. He really was the nicest human being. He made you feel special. He was kind, believed in you, never put you down. A unique human being, a paragon of God’s finest work.
Listening to people talk about his acts of random kindness. Just before he passed he left different things, token gestures that no other person would do. One thing for sure, was that he was always his unique, lovely self, always ready to make sure that you would be okay. He was selfless and put you first. Whilst he lived, he gifted us with gestures of love, took us around the World through his photos and videos, told us funny stories and showed us how to live and lead happy lives.
I never heard Raj complain about anything. I never heard him swear, backchat, display anger, lose his temper or be horrible to anyone - that’s got to be an angel, right? Heaven sent, right?
No one will ever forget Raj passing because the loss and shock is too great to handle. Every time we come to terms with the fact, we remember the way he was, his presence, his smile, his voice, recollect a nice memory and start crying or become heavy heartedly tearful as he is no longer with us.
Of course amongst the tears we manage to laugh at the funny memories too. The video blog he called “Planet of the Apes” was so funny, whereby one monkey is picking another monkey’s bottom, his friend was searching for Hanumanji and by the end of the blog, a monkey was sitting, literally on Raj’s head. Then Raj signs off “This is Raj signing off from Planet of the Apes”.
We will grieve for years, even need counselling because his goodness was given unconditionally and endlessly to and for each one of us, he lived for others, to make us happy, seeing our laughter, smiles and happiness was of the utmost importance to him. He was one of a kind, irreplaceable.
I think that he was one of God’s most important creations, sent during our life time, a shining example of God’s creation of purity and natural beauty. We must count our blessings to have met him, that he made our moments worth cherishing and remembering forever.

Raj what can I say. We grew up with each other in school in London, I remember the great times and sleepovers with you and Ash. I also remember riding in your jaguar, at the time it was the coolest thing ever. When l moved to the U.S. in 1982 we drifted apart. Luckily we reconnected in the last several years, twice in the USA and once in London. I was amazed by how happy you were and enjoying life on your terms but at the same time being loving and caring to all that crossed your path. Raj you were one of a kind, you have been taken to soon but while you were here you lived life to it’s fullest and you have set an example for all of us to enjoy life instead of being burdened by it. God bless your soul and may you Rest In Peace.
