Ralph J. "Gus" Andrews, Jr., 67, a longtime resident of Stoughton. He was the husband of Janet P. (D'Angelo) Andrews. Father of Michelle L. McKeon, Mark J. Andrews and his wife Lisa, Matthew J. Andrews and Melissa L. Freel and her husband Michael.  He was the grandfather of Megan, Michael, Cameron, Colby, Jake, Connor and Kylee. Son of the late Ralph J. and Marion L. (Pinkham) Andrews, brother of Joan Pestilli.  He was born in Weymouth and raised in Quincy. He was a resident of Stoughton for 37 years. Mr. Andrews was a graduate of North Quincy High School, Class of 1961 and was Class President and Captain of the basketball team. He was also elected to the North Quincy High School Hall of Fame for Basketball. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University, Class of 1966 and his Master's Degree in Education from Boston State College. 

He was a Biology teacher at Catholic Memorial High School for 16 years and was the Varsity Basketball Head Coach for many years. He then became a Certified Financial Planner with Ameriprise Financial for 25 years before retiring in 2006. An avid golfer, he was a member of Brockton Country Club. He also enjoyed traveling, playing slot machines and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
