This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Ramond "Ray" John Holasz, 69, born on May 30, 1947 and passed away on July 30, 2016. We will remember him forever. Memorial will be held at pine rest funeral home @ 3:00. All are welcome to attend. We All will be attending to the Holasz residence after memorial.

Will miss you, Ray. Such a good person and was always helpful to a neighbor in need. Always had a good attitude, something we should all try to follow in life. Will miss your wave from my backyard.

Dear Ray; My memories of you will always be of your younger days. When you played football in high school and tackled a player that got hurt by your 6'5" frame, you told Dad, "no more football". The time you picked up a young man by his armpits and held him a foot off the floor, at a school dance, when you thought he was bothering me. And there was the time you came home from the Navy for a visit at the same time I came home from Chicago to visit. We both stayed out all night with friends and boy were we in trouble with Mom, who stayed up all night waiting for us! Remember how I grabbed your arm and said "we are going to Mass this morning" evasion technique worked ..ha. But most of all I will always remember your constant smile, laughter and a good heart, just like our dad! Farewell my handsome little brother and be sure to look in on all of us from time to time and send yours blessings. Love you forever! God Speed.

When I was little you always called me "Flash." Funny how life passes by in a flash. The are many things I could say, but thank you would be the biggest. You taught me how to be a man, how to keep an open mind, how to laugh and shrug off the negative things we may encounter, and you showed me how to love. There are many things I am going to miss. Your goofiness and your laugh will be some of the biggest. When we spoke last week you asked me to do something. I will honor that and see it through. I know you are watching over us and dancing. You are with your old buddies and I'm sure it's "all goooood." I have thought alot about our experiences together and have found myself laughing and sharing some of those with Kitty and others. You trying to shoot dragon flies is one of the best. I miss our hunting, golfing and fishing trips. Life takes us to unexpected places and sends us in directions we may not understand but I know it is part of a master plan. Love you dad!

Ray has been our neighbor for many years. I will miss our talks 'over the fence'. We have watched as he faced many struggles when we knew it took such courage to endure another procedure. He was a fighter! Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace, our brother and may God hold you in the palm of His hand. We will be here for Kitty.

i have never in my life loved and miss a man who absoulty just loved me for me his only concern was i make it in life. and now my family is so torn because of me . RAY NEVER DID ME THIS WAY HE LOVED ME NO MATTER WHAT. HE DIDNT PUT UP WITH MY STUFF BUT HE NEVER TURNED HIS BACK ON ME . he was my dad

I walked in and there he was this Tall handsome man.with a smile i would never forget. we danced and we decided to meet up for a second time the next evening dinner and alot to talk about.It was love for sure. we contiued seeing each other for a year and he findley toled me he had a body part missing well i thought the worse and he took his shoe off and it was missing a toe.we laughed and cryed at the same time. Time was passing by so fast when we met. We got married March 16,1999. ever since we were as happy as if we new each other all our life.saying good by to him was very hard for me.but i relized his body couldn't take it anymore I got him home where he wonted to be. Good By My Love!!! Your Loving Wife Kitty.
