02 - Endless Love

Randall H Blalock

He was born on the morning of April 20, 1952 to Mother Joan and Father James. He had a younger sister, Linda, who he enjoyed for 7 years until she lost her life in a train crossing tragedy. His family crumbled but then rebuilt and expanded as his parents both remarried. His mother with his beloved step father, Bob (who have both now gone on to join his sister, Linda) and father with his young wife, Jean, gave him a total of three brothers and four sisters: Bob, Susan, Joan, Janet, Jack, Jim & Katy.

He spent his childhood & youth going back and forth between the two families. He himself would admit he sometimes brought them joy and sometimes disruption. His dad, who became a pro at a golf club, gave him his training and love of all sports and especially golf. Through his mom he gained interest in business and politics. Both pushed him to read books which would became his endless source of information.

He lived in Florida with his father’s family for a time but when he was fifteen they returned to New Jersey where he transferred as a sophomore into Princeton High and enrolled in sports. It was there in math class that he met Debra, then a freshman age fourteen, his future wife. His entrance into a classroom demanded attention and it got hers. He first took her out on a bet with his friends (which later, when she found out, caused him to have to charm his way to get back together) He married her on May 15, 1971. He was absorbed into her family and together they had two children Jennifer and David.

He spent six years in the US Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio, Texas, The Island of Crete, Greece and Myrtle Beach, SC Air Force Base. It was just after that time that he made Jesus Christ his savior and Lord.

He went on to become a businessman moving up the ranks of management which took him throughout the country troubleshooting problem areas in Wells Fargo, Globe Security and Terminix bringing us to settle in Florida. He then transitioned into being a business owner and negotiator expanding to five offices of Merry Maids and one office of Servicemaster Fire and Restoration in the northeast. Finally, looking to slow down and semi retire; he sold most of the businesses and returned to Florida where he became involved in the running of the complex. This caused him to take a class to qualify him to help improve the management of the complex by becoming a property manager.

Every experience whether good or bad throughout your life can be used to form and improve you. Going forward, these same life experiences can help those that come across your path. He did all that.

On the evening of February 24, 2013 he joined the others now residing in heaven with God who loves them and in the hearts of those still here.
