His Life
April 27, 2011

Randall was born to Oscar "Pete" and Johnie Maye Coffey on February 14, 1951, a handsome little fella with beautiful blue eyes.  He grew up in the Fairview area, with his five sisters, Uola, Ethel, Gail, Karen Sue, and Sybil, and brother, Lynn. He attended Fairview High, graduating in 1969. Randall enjoyed playing sports, and he had a strong love for music.  His instrument of choice:  The trumpet!

With trumpet and suitcase in hand, he headed down to Cajun Country in the early 70's, where he met and married Pamela Bradford.  They had 4 children together; Jeanie Anne, Adam George, Aaron Paul, and little Miss Sarah Marie.  Randall and his family moved several time as the years passed, including Alaska, California, Utah, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was in the heart of Louisiana during the oil boom.  He started working for Johnston-Maco Schlumberger in the mid 70's, moving on to Royal Dutch Shell once he and his family made their home in Bakersfield, California. Randall worked for Shell until retiring in November 2003.  He was a true oilfield man.  He spent many years in Enid, Oklahoma before he moved to Brooklyn, Wisconsin, were he married his love, Christy.  Christy has 3 children, Jenny, Josh, and Sarah, whom Randall was delighted to call his family.

Randall is survived by his loving wife Christy, whom lives in Brooklyn, where the two made their home. He was also blessed with ten beautiful grandchildren; daughter Jeanie Bell and her husband Michael live in Enid, OK with their sons, Brent and Shane. Sarah Coffey lives in Harahan, LA, with fiancé Brian, and children Samantha and Hayden. Randall's eldest son, Adam, lives in Oregon, and has a daughter, Rachel. His son, Aaron, lives in Enid with his wife, Tiffany and children Alyssa and Jacob. Josh Brzezinski lives in Brooklyn, and has one son, Korbin. Christy's daughters, Jenny Miller and Sarah Brzezinski also live in Brooklyn. Jenny and her husband, Mike, have two boys, Trey and David.

Throughout his life, Randall has been loved and cherished by his siblings and their families, and was a proud uncle of fourteen nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. His sister Uola Waldrop lives in Pampa, TX, and has three sons, James Myron, Anthony Leon, and Dewayne. Sybil Grose lives in Oklahoma City, and has three children, Tiffany Schwimmer, Dustin, and Devon. Ethel Unger and husband Will live in Cherokee Village, AR, and have two girls, Anna Ring and Kimberly Humes. Gail Slusher and husband Paul live in Oklahoma City, and have three children, Nathan, Courtney, and Alexis. Karen Sue Wheeler and husband Eldon make their home in Enid. Randall’s brother, Lynn lives in Woodland, Alabama, and has three children, David, Elisa, and Marsha.

Randall will always be loved and cherished, and may he always be remembered in our hearts.  He was a servant to God first; and always a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  He will be waiting at the gates of Heaven, ready to welcome us.
