Miss you

August 16, 2019
It's been 6 years to the exact day we lost you.  You will never know how much you are missed.  Since this is Friday the 16th just like when you past it makes me live this whole thing over again.  You dont know how many times I really miss us being g together on the weekends and the cook outs etc.  You do t do that for years and then it's taken away and not miss someone.  I still love you and I will always miss you.

Two years ago today 2014

February 16, 2016

Six months...a half a year gone since you and Leah went for a quick ride...two people who didnt know each other just wanting to enjoy a motorcycle ride on a beautiful summer night...

I am in between feeling like its been forever since I last saw you and feeling like it was just yesterday...I'm in between being angry you're not here and waiting for you to walk through the door and say "I'm back." I'm lost in between denial and acceptance...hope and despair...anger and sadness.

Our lives were changed forever in five minutes.

I miss you Randy...I wish you could just come back home...

RANDY MEMORY 51-

Remember the day I drove down to Moore with you and you drove me by the house we lived in for a bit there before we moved to Mustang...I was pregnant with Chris and dad had been gone for nine years...you never expected me to lose it and go into hysterical tears. Poor you, you pulled over and just held me until I calmed down saying you were sorry. You were doing something you thought would make me smile and it did but the memories flooded me and I couldn't control the feelings that came. I want you to know I love that you thought to bring me by there that day and im sorry I scared you. I love you Randy. Sure could use another one of those hugs and you holding me for an hour so I can just cry these feelings away...a lot of us could use just an hour...

RANDY DAY 50-

How many of you knew my little brother was once into roller skating at about 14/15 ??? And not just roller skating but dancing all night on skates! He'd spend tons of nights at the Yukon roller rink. Disco balls, Banana Rama, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Madonna, light shows, maple floors...and my brother 'Getting Down On It!" And me watching and smiling at his outgoing, and not shy like me, personality. Plus all the attention he attracted that he LOVED so much lol. And he was darn good at it too haha. We have videos! When I get them I'll post a clip =)

RANDY MEMORIES.....

Been a rough 4 1/2 months (few years now that 2 1/2 years has went by since I did the Randy Memories) with the holidays and with birthdays coming I'm struggling to go to memories. Especially being so visual in my thoughts. I have tons but it's hard to relive even good ones right now. If you don't see a memory its because I am saving myself from tears. The strength that's carried me through is wearing down. I need to recharge so to speak. Thankfully my brothers friend Sean is giving me some memories the rest of the week to share which is awesome!! His friend Dwight said he'd send some too. I feel guilty skipping even a one, please don't think I stopped missing him if I do. It just means I'm making it thru the day. So tonight I'm going to leave you to your memories. Please send me them to post if you want. I'll post it from you. I love my brother and miss him horribly! His memories help me keep him alive.

RANDY MEMORY 48-

Every year on my birthday I could always count on the phone ringing and Randy becoming my "little" brother again teasing the heck out of me about getting old :) Being 4 years younger, he got a kick out of making that call. I always reminded him that even tho I'm older in years, I will always look years younger lol! Sure going to miss that call...he NEVER forgot...

RANDY DAY 47-

Years back Randy and Denna Mosher Aufieri came to Illinois to get the boys at the end of a summer visit with us. We adults decided to head out and have a drink and play pool. We ended up at the Stumble Inn. While Denna and Steve Sondag played pool, Randy and I sat at the bar and talked. He decided he wanted me to try his "pineapple upside down cake" shot that he concocted while bartending. The bartender there that night was nice enough to let him throw it together and the three of us had one. She wanted to learn to make it so he told her how to mix it. I think we had 10 more shots before it was perfect. Needless to say we stumbled out of the Stumble Inn lol. A family friend (thank you Robin Hexdall) said that shot is still served. Think they call it Duck Lips. From now on whenever we are in Braidwood to visit, I'm heading out to have a shot for my brother. That was a night we've talked about for a long time and one we won't ever forget!

If you're close to Godley, go have a pineapple (Duck lips) shot for my little brother,

RANDY DAY 46

Well long drive and beautiful Oklahoma sunset....

Rides, sitting in the back of the truck, on the hood of his car...talks...talks about dad, talks about memories, talks about kids, talks about life...good talks, bad talks... serious talks, joking, talks about nothing at all...talks on rides just driving...talks at the lake in the summer under this beautiful sunset. .I miss those talks...we all have them :)

RANDY DAY 45-

From Sean....

"Making the run to New Mexico is probably my favorite memory. More than anything, simply because it was a chance for Randy and I to really truly bond. As usual, on a whim, he decided that we needed to take a trip to my hometown of Alamogordo. (And Randy's birthplace) With mom's blessing we hit the road for what should have been an 11 hour trip, we made it in 7. I'll never forget it. It was almost midnight and we were almost out of the Texas panhandle into New Mexico. Up ahead of us on the highway we could see something in the road. It was white, and it looked like a trash bag from a distance because it kind of looked like it was moving. Not until the last second did we realize what it was, a dead sheep. Randy tried to miss it but it was too late. We hit it, high centered on it, and ended up dragging it under the truck for probably a good 30-40 yards. Finally it popped out and that's when the smell hit us. Rancid doesn't even come close to describing the smell that chased us all the way to Alamogordo. The memory of that trip has faded over the years, but that was the one part that Randy and I could never forget no matter how hard we tried."

Thank you so much Sean!!

RANDY DAY 44-

The snow today remind me...

When we lived on Scott AFB Illinois we had this adorable little dog we named Tuffy. He was really white and we would take him outside to play in the snow. He would burrow under it and jump out and attack us when we got close. He loved to chase us on our bikes too. Randy and I loved that puppy. We had to find him a new home when we moved to Japan.

This is also where my brother told this new boy that moved in, very loudly with me sitting right there, that "My sister thinks you're cute!!!" My first big crush and Randy embarrassed the hell out of me. Positive note, he told Randy his sister was cute too. We all became friends and I had my first 'boyfriend' You can always count on your little brother to help you out.

RANDY DAY 43-

Our dad was in the Air Force so we saw some of the world growing up. I was born in Michigan. Then we moved to Guam. Randy was born at our next stop New Mexico. After that we lived in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois (think one of these twice but different places) and Japan. We got to visit Korea twice. Almost moved to Italy but our dad retired, too long overseas he said. Got to see Alaska out the airport window and a giant polar bear in a glass case, thankfully stuffed and not alive lol. We stayed with our Aunt in California for a few weeks and saw the ocean. Moved to Washington, the state our dad loved but couldn't stay. Jobs scarce and weather affected his asthma. So we moved South and all the way there my dad told me there was only country music yuck, I was loving Motley Crue :) We moved to Moore Oklahoma then Mustang Oklahoma where we lost our dad and stayed. We were 11 and 15 then. We've visited Michigan, Canada, Arizona and stayed the night in Denver in the snow. We never saw the East Coast but I will someday. And I am going to go back West too, I miss the mountains, think he did too. Oklahoma is home for us and always will be...

RANDY DAY 42-

If something doesn't work

And your nerves are on edge

Who ya gonna call....

Randy Micheal!

Like our dad, if it was broke, it got ripped apart and put back together working again. If it wasn't fixable at the time, it was stored until a way to fix it was found. I think its a gene that runs in the family because Mike, Shylen and Tommy are the same. Denna gave me an old stereo of my dads that needed to be fixed that was given to Randy...it was stored a really long time lol.

December 28, 2015

RANDY DAY 41-

HATS, HATS, HATS....Randy liked his hats lol! His black Nike one the best I'm guessing since he owned a couple thru the years :)

December 27, 2015

RANDY DAY 40-

Talking to Jessica Goldsberry and Lorissa Willis about fish made me remember lobster! Our dad went lobster fishing and brought home a bunch of lobsters. He put them in the tub. Randy and I thought they were pets. We played with them making them snap their claws. Then they came and took them. Randy and I heard them scream...tears, sadness....dinner??!! No way!!! I don't know about Randy but I cant look at lobster with being sad lol! And sure as heck won't eat it!! Love you Randy :) You too dad :)

December 26, 2015

RANDY DAY 39-

So on the way here I remembered something because of the long drive. All the years we moved we drove from place to place. When Randy and I were little on those long trips Randy would have me rub his back and feet to help him sleep. We would take turns off and on the whole ride :) Hey mom, did we argue on those rides?

December 25, 2015

RANDY DAY 38-

From his friend Dwight Thompson...

"Randy and I would go cruising in Chickasha and we would stop in at Sonic, and we sat and talked about life until 2am." Cruising is what he did a lot on weekends. Good old 12th street in Moore too haha.

They would also go to pool tournaments in Enid and other places off and on to hustle people and win some money lol. Sometimes drive quite far because they weren't to play at the bars because they weren't 21. Who remembers good old Cactus Jacks lol

Randy loved playing pool and for awhile we had a pool table in our house. Perfect for him right :)

December 24, 2015

RANDY DAY 37-

Last Christmas with our dad in Washington... Randy still "believed" and I was old enough to know. I got to help put together his brand new bike on Christmas Eve 27 years ago and be his "Santa"

I was so excited and loved doing something so special for my little brother...He was so excited on Christmas morning and I was so thrilled to watch his eyes light up knowing I had a part in his smile...

Merry Christmas Eve Dad and Randy, love you both so much!

December 23, 2015

RANDY DAY 36-

So my little brother was 11 we lived in Washington state and decided to take a dare to impress a girl. He jumped out a two story window and his friend ran over to tell me he was hurt. I called our parents and they came home from work and ran him to the hospital. Crazy kid broke his leg. Spent the summer in a cast.

December 22, 2015

RANDY DAY 35-

Randy's all time favorite movie is "What Dreams May Come"

His favorite author was Stephen King

Music almost everything!

Everyone should watch his favorite movie and think of him this holiday season! (Thanks for helping me remember sis)

December 20, 2015

RANDY DAY 34

Randy with both his grandfathers. They were waiting for him with our dad and Gma when he got to Heaven. I know they are fishing and Gma is waiting to cook lol. They have tons of catching up to do and are having a great time up there :)

December 19, 2015

RANDY DAY 33

Randy was so into Final Fantasy! He even got the PS 3 for just that game lol. Big little kid right?! Problem was when he was just getting into it, and Tommy was little, 32 hours of game time and save files were deleted...and not just once but at least 3 times!!! Omg he was ssssooo mad! Like a little kid he threw a fit :) I got a phone call and was really understanding, but hung up and laughed! Welcome to having kids!! All was well tho, they worked together and beat the game plus many other Final Fantasy games through the years.

(Thank you Coleton Mosher for helping me remember this :D)

From Tommy two years ago

December 19, 2015

People wonder how people put on a smile during a hard time. Nobody know how to but to get over it and when you get over it you have to forget the hard times that nobody liked and remember the good times, but in all reality you don't want to you wanna remember all the times you wanna remember all the times the times where he yelled at you the times he laughed the times he smiled and definitely the times where you with him. Me and my dad didn't have the best relationship of all dads and sons but my relationship was special. We laughed, smiled, and definitely had a great time. The only reason people try to get over it easily is because you don't wanna take in the truth and if you do your afraid of it and if i knew my dad he took it head on into anything and he taught it to me. Sure people have the hardest times and sure people can't be happy all the time, But you have to embrace the truth, Sure i hide a lot behind a fake smile because i want other people happy, When i was born i wasn't brightest kid on the earth but with my dad he taught me right and sure i screw up (alot) but at least i learn from my mistake and i don't have a great memory but i do remember the one fathers day we took together my treat. We went to Alfreado's and had a blast and had the best conversation with him and i won't ever forget it (you can ask me about it but make sure you have time to listen to it) because it was the best day for us. If i could absolutely change anything it would to go everywhere with him. If i knew his time was close i would of shut down everything just to see him smile. He was the greatest dad i will ever have and will forever because nobody can replace him. People have hard times but i don't hide it behind lies i take the truth first and go forward with it and don't live in the past. I carry on and if you wanna know how to deal with a loss ask me because i will never forget how to deal with a death like this. At least he told me how to deal with it

RANDY DAY 32

No words just memories, love and tears...

Miss you still today as much as the day I first posted this...

December 17, 2015

RANDY DAY 32

From his nephew Coleton Mosher-

"My favorite memory is that he always called us kids gay or told us we were dating shemales. Lol."

And this he did to all his nieces and nephews :D He loved to tease the heck out of them anytime he could haha. I think it was one of his lifelong goals. I'm sure that's what he was whispering in Coletons ear in the picture. I'm still not sure why he thought all the boys were gay tho...I'm sure he meant gay as in happy hehehe...

(Pictures of all the kids lucky enough to call my brother dad and uncle) Love you kids to the moon and back, and so does he <3

RANDY DAY 31

Four months ago today and the only thing that pops in my mind is an image of my brother sitting back in his chair.....

My brothers chair...if he was home you could almost always find him here. This was his spot to relax, sleep, watch TV, surf the net, play his racing game on his phone...This is where he was sitting when we had our last talk and I gave him his last hug...where I said goodnight to him and I love you for the last time...This isn't a big chair but it held a great man...no other will ever fit in it....I wish he was sitting there now...

December 15, 2015

RANDY DAY 30

For 13 years we would load up every vacation and whatever long weekends we had and drive down to Oklahoma from Illinois to spend time with Nana Uncle Denna Shy and Tommy. My kids would look forward to these trips and count down the days. These times were some the most important moments of each year.

Randy is Uncle. One year instead of saying we needed to get ready to head to Uncles house, I said Randy's house. My kids asked who the heck Randy was lol. I told him this and he teased them for not knowing who he was. They told him they did know, he was Uncle lol. My brother wore many hats and had many titles. He is a son a dad a husband a brother a friend an electrician and the best, funniest weirdest and smartest Uncle around...and Tay just said a butthead sometimes too :) He's left some great memories, with the greatest kids ever, from both sides of wonderful families!

December 14, 2015

RANDY DAY 29

Okay the Michigan fishing trip. I failed to mention Randy caught the biggest fish that day on top of falling on his butt lol. He enjoyed this trip and they all stopped for the night on the way home, so I heard all about it first hand :) Good fishing good times and lots of laughs of course it was Randy lol. Denna's family loved him, not surprising tho because everyone does the minute they meet him...always :) God has some great men up there but I know my dad and brother bring the angels the best giggles of all...miss those men :(

BTW look at that face when holding that biggest fish lmao...really haha ;D

December 13, 2015

RANDY DAY 28

BBQ's at Randy's. We all remember these. So many different memories for each of us that's its hard to isolate it to just one. Kids would swim and jump on trampoline. Adults would sit on the deck out back and just talk and joke and catch up. Occasionally someone would put the chair back to far and fall off the deck backwards lol. (Proven by the picture of Randy on the ground hehe) No TV, no distractions...just good family time :) When we are all sitting out back, I can still see Randy sitting there with us...and probably always will...

December 12, 2015

RANDY DAY 27

Something Randy learned to love from our dad was FISHING! He loved to fish even though he hated to sit still lol. He loved taking out the boats at Canton in the early hours to fish, loved going to Woodward to fish in moms and Mjs pond, and took the kids fishing off and on. He loved reeling in those big catfish at the pond. His eyes would light up like a little kids when that pole jerked...when they went to Michigan to visit and salmon fish, I heard he slipped and

fell on his butt in the water lol, what a way to break the ice and get to know new family members. Would have loved to have seen the look on his face that day :p

December 11, 2015

RANDY DAY 26

I don't have a picture for this memory at the moment but will definitely post when I do so you can see what I mean lol.

A few years back I received a picture on my phone of this really unfamiliar looking bald guy. I couldn't for the life of me figure out who it was! Then it occurred to me it may just be my brother. I showed the picture to Taylor Sondag Chris Sondag and Mike asking...is this Uncle??? None of us were positive so I finally had to call lol. Sure enough it was him. He had come home, went outside and shaved his head on a whim lol!! What reminded me of this was Mike, he went in to take a shower and walked out with a shaved head haha!! He pulled an uncle =) This is a good reminder that even the tiniest things can become HUGE memories to smile at later...

December 10, 2015

RANDY DAY 25

Randy used to complain about his furry little friends all the time. They took up his whole bed, they destroyed his house, eating through walls lol BUT look at these pictures and tell me he didn't love his little furry babies =) Of course he did haha, they were just something to complain about :p He also adored his moms, ours and mother in-laws pups too. He loved wolves and loved dogs...

December 9, 2015

RANDY DAY 24

The memory for today is MINI TRUCKS! My brother loved this slammed to the ground red machine! We took it cruising 12th street in Moore, it went to mini truck shows, and if I remember right it may of even graced the pages of a magazine. It even traveled to New Mexico where Randy was born. (Randy and Sean in this picture before they took off). He was so proud of this truck even though when you drove it you had to avoid every speed bump and set of railroad tracks around lol.

December 8, 2015

RANDY DAY 23

Growing up, our little outgoing social Randy tried a bunch of different things...T-ball (remember taking him Tena Sisler Davidson), boy scouts, trumpet (something I could have skipped lol), basketball, and saxophone to name a few. Whatever got his interest, he tried and gave his all. Our dad always said "if you're going to do it half-a**ed, don't do it at all." Guess that stuck with us =) He was a very outgoing and lovable person. He smiled and that twinkle in his eyes and crooked smile made him lots of friends. Really miss that smile...

December 7, 2015

RANDY DAY 22

When the boys were young I took care of them during the day. Our mom and I helped Randy raise the boys. Then I found out we were moving to Illinois. I was so worried about going because I didn't know who would be there to help take care of Shylen Aufieri and Tommy Aufieri. Randy met and brought this young lady to meet us shortly after and we immediately hit it off, and so did my brother and her. Over my last year in Oklahoma my brother and Denna Mosher Aufieri became closer, and she became part of our family. I knew he had found a good woman :) I moved away with a heavy heart but knowing three of my favorite guys were taken care of. Denna, Randy and I had some amazing times together. And she always stood by Randy no matter what. Thank you Denna for being one a Randy's memories. I still cant believe we were ever that young lol.

December 6, 2015

RANDY DAY 21

And DAD MEMORY

When Randy and I were little, probably until we were 10 & 6, maybe older, probably older because we begged for it lol, our dad would let us take markers and draw on his back for hours. Mom would watch and laugh telling dad he was crazy. I am sure he would go to work with drawings all over. I remember how great these times were. Very clear and bright memories and still warm my heart. I even remember us doing it so far back that Randy would scribble and we would say it was a great car haha. Thank you God for memories as far back ad two, our kids will have them all, and I/we need these now ♡ These were the best of times ♥ Mom, Jamie Ogden, do you remember this? Im sure you had to scrub his back forever lol. You and dad were/are such great parents!!! I sure miss them both...

December 5, 2015

RANDY DAY 20

Short and sweet....

My brother was a young but very proud Daddy of two precious boys, Shylen Aufieri (picture 1) and Tommy Aufieri (picture 2).

They are his greatest achievements in life, the source of many of our most wonderful memories of him and our greatest gifts from him. There isn't much I can say about this memory because the love he has for them and the pride he felt being a father can't be put into words. That's why

I know he will always be with them.

December 4, 2015

RANDY DAY 19

Another story Randy and I often laughed about ♥

Mom had a friend from Sweden come visit for a month. The funny thing was he turned out to be a little strange (okay a lot) lol. Nice but different. Randy and I took him out one night to the Good Old Silver Stallion because he was driving our mom nuts :) Randy who is a lot more outgoing than me and a bit less reserved got up and was teaching him the electric slide (see Denna Mosher Aufieri he did dance haha.) We had a good time and my mom got a break. Btw mom (Jamie Ogden) we told him his new theme song was American Woman hahaha!

December 3, 2015

RANDY DAY 18

One of Randy's favorite memories because he was proud of himself for what he did for me and let people know lol. He had every right to be. I am proud of him too.

A year after my dad died, at 16 I got pregnant with the beautiful little girl in this picture. My friends at the time pretty much disappeared. My little 12 year old brother decided he was going to be there for me. We went to movies just because I craved popcorn. He'd stay home and hangout watching TV. He would hug me when I cried and tell me it would all be OK. He'd drive with me to the store because I HAD to have cherries. He told me I wasn't fat when I couldn't find anything to wear. We found each other again and became the best of friends and we weren't ever just annoying siblings again.

In this picture Randy is 13, Sara Aufieri is 6 months and I am 17.

I am and with always be forever greatful for these times. No offense to anyone I've known but my brother is the "bestest" friend I ever had. And mom just so you know thank you for being there too.

He told me about that a hundred times how he just hung out with you EVERYWHERE. HE loved you very much Tracy! - Denna Luman

He told me about that also. He was very protective of you.- Renee Yoder

December 2, 2015

RANDY DAY 17

One of Randy's favorite places was the casinos and if you were him you'd love it too. He's one of the luckiest people I know. He'd win drawings, he won a fishing pole this fathers day and on his birthday won thousands for being in the right seat lol. I've heard stories, from him because he'd call to brag, that he'd lost all his money and put his last dollar in a machine walking out the door and won everything he'd lost plus some. Even when I went with him he won and I am definitely a black cloud at a casino haha. Randy always had all the luck, and not just at the casino, it was like he was born with the ultimate lucky charm intact. Everything always worked out the best way possible for him. Wish he would have left some of that luck with us tho lol....

December 1, 2015

RANDY DAY 16

This ones for you Sara Aufieri...

When Sara was little Randy used to put on this monkey mask to try to scare her but obviously it didn't work because she knew her uncle lol. He LOVED teasing all our kids whenever he found the chance. He sure loved that little girl as well as all the others! He wasn't just a great dad, he was also a terrific uncle. Melissa Manley I bet you, Sean, Dwight Thompson and Kenny remember this lol.

November 30, 2015

RANDY DAY 15

From our mom Jamie Ogden-

We used to get pictures taken every year. This was one of my favorites. Randy hated getting pictures taken, but just like me he loved taking them of others. And having all he new high tech equipment to take them lol We didn't have the opportunity to take many pictures of just the three of us professionally because Tracy moved but should have taken the time when we had it. Just a reminder...pictures are priceless... We all really miss this man...

I'll add pictures when I get a computer back

November 29, 2015

RANDY MEMORY DAY 14-

I've been told by a little birdie Denna Mosher Aufieri that my brother decided to take the family to the skate park. Being the little kid he always is, he decided to hop on a bike, since it was ssssoooo easy, and try some jumps himself. Hhhuuummm seeing that he's laying on the ground with a bunch of kids surrounding him to see if he's OK, indicates he just didn't make it lol. In fact I'm pretty sure I heard he flat ATE it haha! Don't worry his only injury was a bruised shoulder :) Wonder if he would've ever tried again....yeah he probably would've lol....he never really grew out of being a big little kid <3

Miss and love you Randy. Give dad a hug and our love.

November 28, 2015

RANDY DAY 13

Thanksgiving 5 years ago, we could not go to Oklahoma so my mom and Mj came to us. The day after they headed home and the normal sadness of being far away set in. The kids and I really missed being able to see Randy Denna Mosher Aufieri Shylen Aufieri and Tommy Aufieri. Later that day I was at the computer and the doorbell rang. Taylor Sondag ran to answer it. She should dumbfounded so long I finally asked who it was and in they all came! I think I went into shock because my brain didn't compute that they were real lol. I just started crying. The boys walked down the hall just as shocked! (If you zoom in you can see how wide Tays eyes got lol) SURPRISE!!! I'm so thankful Denna took this picture as Taylor opened the door. I still tear up and my heart and soul flood with the emotions of that day when I see it.

God I love my brother and my family!!!

Pictures of You- The Last Goodnight

RANDY MEMORY DAY 12

I was living in Illinois and getting ready to go take my final in Theology. It had been a terrible week and I was having such a terrible day. I went to check the mail and there was a small package with Randy's handwriting on it. Weird right because he did not do letters! I opened it and there was a DVD inside. I put it on and this song played with a series of pictures from our lives...I cried and cried but happy tears. Then a screen popped up saying " Bet you're crying but I'm not done yet" (I couldn't help but laugh) followed by more pictures (and more tears)...then "Have you had enough, too bad." This went on for a good thirty minutes. It is a memory that is forever engraved in my heart and soul. That day I was reminded of how much my brother loved me and I him. That moment cost $2 for a DVD and his time and postage. I wouldn't trade it for any amount of money in the universe. The emotions I felt that day, the warmth that flooded my heart was and is priceless.

And today still comforts me when I'm hurting the most because I still feel the love you packed in that small package!!

November 26, 2015

RANDY DAY 11

THE FAMOUS ROBIN LEACH PJS

Randy and Denna Mosher Aufieris first Christmas together. Randy opened his gift from Denna and omg there's a pair of fancy silk pajamas! He wore them and strutted around saying in a very fake English accent "On lifestyles of the rich and famous...." She said he probably was embarrassed wearing them and maybe didn't feel real comfortable but he did it for her lol...new love right haha! Love that guy, so goofy :)

RANDY MEMORY 10

From our mom Jamie Ogden...

When I found out I was expecting my first child, I was overjoyed. I wanted to be a mother more than anything. Your dad was 5 ft 8, and oldest of three. He had two sisters who were 6 ft 1 and 6 ft and I was hoping if I had a girl you would be petite and small; and if I had a son, he wold be tall. You were indeed tiny. As you both grew, Randy very rapidly towered over you as you can see by this picture. Here you are in this picture, mother of 4 and Randy father of two when this was taken.

Side note-- I never realized how short I was until this picture mom lol, I always felt bigger than him :D

RANDY DAY 9

OH MY GOSH AND WOW, our days at the lake!!! Even tho we lived far away a lot of our summer was here at home. These were the best times! No video games, no TV...just family, good conversation, boat rides, swimming and fishing. Canton was the best, everyone in this family loved all our times there separately and together...There was one time that Randy convinced me to go tubing. And he gave me one hell of a ride. He twisted and turned and sped up like crazy trying to get me to let go and of course I would not let my little brother show me up...and I was kinda scared because he was going so fast :) Denna Mosher Aufieri said I looked like a rag doll flopping around out there. I finally let go when he had to slow down to turn because my muscles were ssooo sore...He would never admit how fast he was going, he'd give me a sheepish grin and tell me he was only going 25/30, but our kids are loyal haha. Not one kid would get on that again that day lol. I was sore from shoulders down for a week. Denna, mom now me flopping around would be a picture to have as well as the evil smirk I'm sure Randy had on his face the whole time =) with Mike and

RANDY MEMORY DAY 8

Moving to the present year for today...

Sam came here before the kids and I, and Randy and him both had interesting ways of doing things. Randy, Denna, & Sam all sent me this picture :) Randy and Sam brought home the trackhoe (a toy to play around with) from work to level out the ground for the pool and Denna decided she needed a garden. This picture was sent to me THREE times titled Redneck Gardeners. Randy couldnt find any of his three rakes that day and was getting aggravated. Sam said looking back they were pretty much taking turns in the trackhoe messing up the grass while Denna just grinned and bared it. Apparently, I also heard that Dennas garden size directions werent really clear and she had to be really specific because "they couldn't read her mind" lol, "I want it here to here and here" didn't work hehehe. They told her she should go bigger and if you saw it this summer you'd know they were right :) Oh and btw, the guys DIDN'T get the pool level lol. I'm positive this was a good day for all of them and a memory they won't forget. Sam still smiles at this picture and talks about Randy, Denna and this day ♥

RANDY DAY 7

With our dad being in the Air Force, we lived in Japan for 4 1/2:years. While there we got to go to Korea a few times on R&R trips. How those trips are burned in my memory ♥

On this particular trip, our dad took Randy on a father/son day out. He had a facial, haircut, massage and nail cleaning. Oh my gosh did he love the attention and THE GIRLS!! He struted around for days smiling...Mr Macho lol. And no Shy and Mike (don't ask, you know what I'm talking about) :p

Hugs to you dad and Randy ♥
