He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Randall 'Randy' Aquino, 69 years old, born on February 28, 1951, he went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2021.
Randy is cherished as a family man, always surrounded by an abundance of love and a lifelong title as the favorite.
Randy is survived by four adult children. His first born Sean and Jona from his marriage to Gayle into his early 30's. Chaz and Tia from his marriage to Michelle, into his mid 50's. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Jahnelle, his son-in-law Bezalel and Octavio Jr.
Randy is survived by beautiful grandchildren that love and adore him. They are listed eldest to youngest: Alana, first born grandson Noa, Kalea , Alexis, Sean, Seanie, Seth, Ty, Naomi, Kaelen , Elyanah, Nolan and great grand daughter Leila. He also considered Omar , Nena & Jayden an extension of his family.
He also is survived by his first cousin Pep, who is like another brother. His nieces, nephews and their families as well as long-long family friends including Ruthie and Octavio .
Randy has gone to be with his Parents Gregorio & Cristine Aquino. His three older brothers George, Errol and Tyrone as well as his sister Jenny Okumura. We felt it significant to mention that his brother Tyrone passed just three days before him. Randy was the last Aquino of his generation and now his sons and nephews carry on the name with honor .
Randy was a native of Hawaii. He considered Hawaii to be his home, and he brought that Hawaiian way of life with him wherever he went. That "aloha spirit" is deeply rooted in his character and in the way he treated others. It is said that home is not a place, but that it is a person. We found our home within his heart, and no matter where he was, we were there with him. That kind of love never leaves you.
Randy was a very musical man, he played the harmonica and congas, as well being the karaoke star of the family. He could play the Tahitian drums and fire dance. Randy enjoyed his Hawaiian music , Motown, Jazz, Salsa and Oldies to name a few. Randy is full of soul and leaves us with so much music in our hearts.
He was an avid reader who loved mystery books. He is also a man of faith , who read many Christian books including the Bible. Randy was retired, his pass time was reading, watching movies, playing chess with his grandson Kaelen, hanging with his brother Ty , making his rounds with his kids and being a full time, "cool" grandpa.
Randy had many different seasons. One of the most beautiful things about him is that no matter what he was going through, he never complained or spoke negative about anyone. He remained gentle in spirit , forgiving in his heart and kind to everyone. His character spoke deeply to us and richly blesses our lives.
Please go over to the life events tab above and enjoy more about his history and accomplishments. We however want to emphasize, that his legacy of "aloha" is the treasure that will eternally impact the lives he touched and lives of the generation of children that follow him.
We will be holding a Sunset Celebration of Life , on May 1st @ 6:30 Hawaiian Time

We chose May 1st , because of its significance , it is Lei Day in Hawaii . It is a special day to celebrate the spirit of aloha, which is our dads greatest legacy. A lei is a gift of aloha . In lieu of flowers , we ask that you would consider adopting the tradition of sending a lei to someone you care about in Randy's remembrance.
We invite you to contribute pictures, stories , videos or kind words of Randy and how he has touched your life . This website is a living legacy so come back and visit .
We thank you with all of our hearts for sharing in this time with us . Thank you for the abundance of love and support . We bless you and we thank you dearly .
Much Mahalo
