Time flies, but memories stay in our hearts. Mr Rathi was a helpful and a nice person.. Will always remember him as such...

And so time passes so quickly ...... No was never an answer from Mr. Rathee. Amazing individual he was .... remembering good times. Om shanti shanti shanti.

Our Association with Shri R. S. Rathee has been almost since we shifted to DLF Phase 2, when he used to be our neighbour in our nearby row at K-17. Later on when he was given the charge of being Estate Manager for Phase -2, he always was very prompt to act upon. Subsequent associations grew as he joined the DLF QE RWA, and as President of the QERWA, he used to take the residents related issues to the various concerned authorities. I had the previlage to accompany him to Chandigarh, Panchkula, and even at the Nirvachan Bhawan, New Delhi. He had always been very humble, down to earth person, with no ego. Even if his phone was busy, he used to contact himself personally at the earliest opportunity. With his departure, not only the DLF, but the whole of Gurugram, has lost a gem. It would be difficult to find a person like him, who had various issues, and data on his finger tips. HUM TUMHE BHOOL NA PAYENGE.

We are shocked and tearful eyes filled with sadness .A great personality will remain live in public domain. My heartiest tributes to the beloved and nobleman 's soul.

We shifted in Dlf phase 2 in 1992.Although I was very young at that time but I knew him as a family friend as my father Madhusudan Sharma and he worked collectively for DLF welfare.In 2019 when I lost my father he came forward as a father figure to me with all his guidance and support.Only few years back I got to converse with him much such a polite and inspiring soul he was.Great work and changes which he has brought since he acquired the Councillor position is very much visible to all.Good deeds done are always remembered.Its a big loss.

I returned to this community after a while and the changes I see are testament to the genuine commitment by Mr Rathi. I leave my humble obeisance here. I'm certain his legacy will live on and his memories will be revered by all. K Block resident

A man who understood aspects like a healthy community .
Had interacted with him directly for Dengue breeding grounds.
For Screening tests for Geriatric age group residents.
And for better Covid protocols.

For each of them not only did he listen patiently we made sure that there was action started on each of them and even reverted back

I moved in DLF II in 1990 and met Rathi Ji for the first time when I was in class VIII...he has always been close to heart as he has always been a very approachable person at all times for any one in genuine need...now my son is in class X, have too many memories, to sum up can only say, Gurugram has lost one of the most strong pillar, would stand by his learnings and with his family always...I am sure God needed company in heaven. Rathee Ji, was a helping, very forthcoming and an active person. He made a difference in everyone’s life around him. He was always ready with a sympathetic ear if someone needed any help. My dad had interacted with him earlier but I never even knew what mcg and all are useful for untill I came in contact with Rathee Ji. The way he did his work and involved everyone was commendable. He took a lot of steps to be approachable to his ward residents. Even his team respected him a lot. He will be missed. residents and friends from DLF2 will always remember him. Aggarwal L block

गुरुग्राम नगर निगम वार्ड नं 34 के पार्षद श्री आर एस राठी जी के कोरोना महामारी के कारण इस तरह असमय चले जाना समस्त नगर निगम को अपूर्णीय क्षति है। विशेष रूप से वार्ड नं 34 के निवासीयों के लिए यह बहुत बड़ा धक्का है।
पिछले एक वर्ष से इस महामारी के दौरान उन्होंने पार्षद के नाते क्षेत्र के निवासियों की हरसम्भव सहायता करने का प्रयास किया परन्तु अंत में वह स्वयं ही इस महामारी के शिकार हो गये। यह नियती की बहुत बड़ी विडंबना है। इसी माह ही कुछ दिनों पहले उनको माता-पिता के एक साथ चले जाने का भी असहनीय दुख झेलना पड़ा था।
   वार्ड नं-34 में उनके द्वारा किये गये विकास व सुधार कार्यों की तो बहुत बड़ी सूची है। परंतु एक सोच के लिए वह हमेशा याद किये जायेगें जो कि 'गुड़गांव विजन' के नाम से आज लगभग 25 वर्ष पूर्व गुड़गांव के समग्र विकास का Concept उन्होंने बताया था। यह सतत विकास के प्रति उनकी दूरदर्शी सोच का उदाहरण था‌ । एक योग्य, जुझारू, कर्मठ, व सकारात्मक सोच से कार्य करने व्यक्ति के रूप में वह अवश्य याद किये जायेगें।
ईश्वर उनकी दिवंगत आत्मा को शांति प्रदान करे व उनके परिवार को इस असहनीय दुख को सहने की शक्ति दे।

I have always had great respect for Mr R.S Rathee . My family have know him since we first shifted to DLF in 1995. I looked up to him since I was a child . No matter what problem we had Rathi Jee was always a pillar of support to all families residing in DLF without any selfish motive . He always had a smile on his face which was itself a great motivation for people around him. His absence will never be filled but he will always live in our hearts . RIP SIR

Rathee jis untimely demise is extremely shocking.A good soul,gone so soon.
No words to express our sadness.
A huge loss to all,particularly dlf community.

The passing of Mr. Rathee has been extremely sad. So untimely. Just recently his both parents passed due to Covid. What a torrid time for the family. God bless his Soul to attain sadgathi and give strength to his family to bear their loss. Om Shanti.

I had the opportunity to know him for a long time. Right from the time when he was an employee of DLF. He actually handed over possession of our house in DLF City. He was a humble and noble soul who was ready to help everyone. No wonder he was able to devote his life to public service. 
I really wish he had lived for many more years as it is very hard to find people with genuine intent. 
May he be happy in the better world where he has gone..... his memories will always be cherished.  We will miss you sir.

We lost a great human being who touched so many lives and a true warrior who despite all challenges was always on frontline helping, saving people.
