This memorial was created in memory of our beloved, Raymond Hill.

He was 49 years old, born on March 9, 1964 and passed away on January 17, 2014. He was truly one of a kind but was also known as son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, and most of all, friend. We will remember him forever.

Please take time to contribute to this active memorial.

We encourage you to write a brief story about Ray. Maybe share something that only he and you experienced together. Share your pictures of Ray. Just look for the "Add Photos" link to upload them. Be sure to identify others in the photo as well as when and where it was taken. Comment on pictures others have contributed. Help identify people or places and most of all add brief stories of what happened that day, or something funny Ray said that day. Share a video of Ray. If you have any video clips that include Ray, even briefly, please share them. Leave a tribute to Ray. In the area below, you can leave a brief comment directed to our beloved Ray. Or you can just enter your name and "light a candle", "lay a flower", or "leave a note". (be sure to add stories to the "Stories" section located above)

Chance and I were thinking back over the weekend on all the good times we shared...B6 success parties, camping at June Lake (and the snow in July?!?), talking about and playing music, and just hanging out. We wish Ray could've been on this earth longer. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, including ours. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

North Shore Oahu

January 31, 2014

This was taken at North Shore Beach in Oahu. It was Ray's favorite beach in Oahu. He woke me up real early that morning so that he could take me there to see the sunrise. . Ray was such a romantic. We enjoyed watching it rise together at our favorite place. Ray found that stick and for whatever reason wanted his picture taken with it. Ray was funny in that way. He always made me laugh. I'll have to go back there one day with Ashley. Ray would love that. I miss your smile Ray. Your memory will always be with me. Carla

Baby AJ and Uncle Ray 1994

January 30, 2014

Another one of my favorite photo's, taken in Studio City, CA in 1994.  This my son AJ Michael DeMayo at about 4 months old, with his Uncle Ray who came to visit and stay with us for a few days.

Uncle Ray and AJ had a very special relationship, Ray would entertain AJ for hours we had an airplane swing on our patio that AJ loved, and Ray would swing him in there and tickle him.  AJ enjoyed every moment!

Ray had a way with little children, because Ray never lost that fun we all have as little kids. That is something I loved about my brother Ray, he never allowed himself to grow up too much, he left the fun in life and lived to the fullest.

I am so grateful to have had a brother like you Ray.... Really missing you today xxoo

My Brother Ray ~ My Wedding Day '92

January 30, 2014
This is one of my most favorite pictures with my brother Ray, taken on my wedding day October 17, 1992.  On this day, I married the love of my life Al DeMayo, whom I am still married too.  Ray, was so happy for me that day, he knew how much I loved Al, and his was a huge supporter of my marriage.  Through all the stress and drama of planning for a wedding, I remember that Ray had been staying at our apartment sometimes and he would tell me how happy he was for me, and that all of the planning did not mean anything, he would say "it's who you marry Teresa"....

I will never forget....

Then at the wedding with all that goes on, it's hard to catch the bride she is running around, kissing, hugging and thanking everyone for coming.. He came up to me and grabbed me and said - I am so happy for you Teresa, and I love you.. Lucky for me there was the photographer, and with a smile, the picture was taken and today and I ever so grateful... Love you Ray my brother, my friend to the end... Your lil sis xxoo
