I am a friend of Ray's for many years. I am in total shock that he passed. Last time I saw Lydia she was just starting ballet I believe and I was showing her some steps. Ray was a very nice man and we hung out together a lot. I have met his family many times over at mom's house. May he rest in peace and yes he is loved very much. I am so sorry for your loss.

Via Jim Herold. The time he & Ray raced back to work from subway. Ray had a ford bronco, Jim a ford tempo. Ronnie Rank was riding w/Ray. Jim went around the mud puddle. Ray went through the mud puddle, soaking them both cuz he had no floor boards.

What i remember about Ray is all the times i work with you on the rework line when you trip on the wood pallet and he gets off the floor and the first thing he tells me is he is sorry that still makes me laugh. Just wanted to tell the family he pass a happy man rest in peace

I remember when Chip was 15 my Mom caught him smoking a cigarette My Mom also smoked Kent cigarettes she made him open a fresh pack of Kent cigarettes and made him smoke 1 after the other till they were gone his face was so green. He never had another one after that for along time Rip Chip

On behalf of Jim, as we rode off from the funeral Friday July 19, 2013, as a tribute to our friend Ray, our friend did a "Ray" at 2 stoplights. He always chirped his back tire when slowing down. As we laughed & laughed. There ya go Ray! RIGHT after that the bike's throttle stuck, then the bike shut down. This went on for about 10 minutes. I said to Jim, that was Ray getting us back! WOW!

Chip would call and ask if I would want to go to look at cars at the car lots If I saw a cool car I would put dibs on it and he would say no u don't its mine it went back and fourth like that for awhile then he would say ok you can have it. There were many Saturday nights he would come over to my house and we would watch movies. I remember when Lydia was a little girl I stayed at his moms house and I was showing Lydia some ballet steps. She used to sit on my lap and we would read stories and sit on the floor and play. I grew attached to her quite quickly.
I had thanksgiving with the family one year and I met all you guys. I enjoyed getting to know all of you. Jason was always with Ray, and he expressed how much he cared for him. He told me several times over the years how much he loved his family and loves being around them.
I will miss Ray very much. We talked on facebook alot and I am so sorry for your loss. Time sure flies. Please take care of yourselves and you are and always will be in Rays heart and I hope he rests in peace.
