Raymond Brown Cunningham Jr., 66 passed away September 19, 2022 at his home in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. 

Ray was born April 8, 1956 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He graduated from East Portsmouth High School in Sciotoville in 1974 and served as an electrician in the United States Navy from 1974-1975. He worked for a number of years as a life insurance salesman in Columbus, Ohio. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing at Lake Snowden with his dad and kids, golfing, and recreating Emeril Lagasse recipes. 

In recent years, he maintained a booth at the Hillbilly Flea Market in Ashland, KY, where he was known as The Knife Guy.

Ray is survived by 3 children: Lauren Gilbert, Erica (Patrick Farkas) Cunningham, and Brian (Samantha) Cunningham; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Joanne (Tom) Etterling and Barbara (Charles) Jones; and 2 step-sisters: Sandra Spradlin and Carolyn (Richard) Spradlin. Preceded in death by father, Raymond Cunningham Sr.; mother, Ardith Thelma Armbrister; and step-mother, Thelma Irene Bush. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Memorial Burial Park Mausoleum in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
