Raymond Daniel Esperti was born February 12, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 16, he began working at the Book-Cadillac Hotel, Detroit’s finest, and fell in love with the hotel industry. After high school graduation, Raymond and a buddy drove cross country to San Diego, California. He continued to work in the hotel industry in San Diego where he got his big break and was made general manager of the newly opened Kings Inn, where he met his future wife Patricia. It was love at first site for both of them and they spent the next fifty-eight years by each other's side. They were fortunate to explore many cities and developed life long friendships while Raymond ran hotels in San Diego, Hawaii, Washington, & Los Angeles.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Patricia Jean Esperti, and his son, Trent Esperti.  He leaves behind seven  grandchildren: Mackenzie, Shannon, Richard, Logan, Sydnie, Sharlene and Bradley; and four great grandchildren: Sebastian, Kingston, Bailey and Shealynn. Raymond was predeceased by his son, Vincent Esperti.

Raymond enjoyed golfing, traveling, and kissing (this according to his wife).  He was a sweet soul, a real class act and was still the Silver Fox even at eighty-eight.  He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
