A Nebraska man is killed in the early morning hours after hitting a parked trailer and a piece of construction equipment in Hastings. He was a young Cozad soldier who was about to be deployed.21–year–old Raymond Heuck was part of the first of the 134th Cavalry Squadron. Over the next two months, the Nebraska National Guardsmen and women will train in the U.S. and then deploy to Afghanistan.
But Heuck's service in this group has been cut short. Around 2:00 am this morning, his Chevy Cobalt hit a parked trailer at ninth and Baltimore in Hastings.
