I was small when she passed, but I will never forget spending the night there once, having fried chicken for supper, and waking up to the smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen... Growing up over the years every time we are in town we have to ride by her house, and the memory comes back of her smiling face in the kitchen...

When someone you love passes, it hurts. For one person to have such an impact on your life and touch the heart of everyone they come in contact with.....that person shouldn't just be remembered on just one day of the year, that person should be remembered each and everyday, as though they never left, for one day, you may just see that person again. Mom was a true Christian and she raised us to believe in God and his word.I'm so blessed to have had the priviledge of calling her Mama.Thank you God for letting us have her for so long and I look forward to when I can see her in Heaven. I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Reba. She always had that sweet smile even though I know her life was hard. She always made us feel so welcome to come stay with the girls and I know it wasn't always a treat for her to have a bunch of giggling, squealing girls around. She showed her love for her family in a thousand daily ways. Love you Aunt Reba

She was the best Grandmother a guy could want ! She was agood listener, and advisor. I miss the times we gsthered around her piano and listened to her play as we sang ! When I have a stressful day, all I have to do is look at her picture, and she gives me the strength I need to make it through ! I love and miss you Grandmother Rich.

I loved going to my grandma's house as a child and adolescent. I can still remember the smell of it. The love that seemed to flow from wall to wall. It was home to me in so many ways. I remember going to her house at Christmas time and loved to hear her playing the piano. Oh, and the food......delicious!! It was always a great time had! The family would meet at grandma's house on or around her birthday and Christmas each year.
I remember that I stayed with her for a few days, and we went to the Senior Center and I got to meet the ladies there and join in on some of the arts and crafts they were doing. I also remember my Grandma "out walking" me when we went for a 3 mile walk!!! Whew!!! That lady could move!!!
