I loved going to my grandma's house as a child and adolescent. I can still remember the smell of it. The love that seemed to flow from wall to wall. It was home to me in so many ways. I remember going to her house at Christmas time and loved to hear her playing the piano. Oh, and the food......delicious!! It was always a great time had! The family would meet at grandma's house on or around her birthday and Christmas each year.

I remember that I stayed with her for a few days, and we went to the Senior Center and I got to meet the ladies there and join in on some of the arts and crafts they were doing. I also remember my Grandma "out walking" me when we went for a 3 mile walk!!! Whew!!!  That lady could move!!!
