She also had four wonderful grandchildren! Bailee Banks, Kaylyn Banks, Jordan Banks, Jessica Maxey. And one adorable great grandson Gavin Boley with a great granddaughter on the way.
Rebecca McFarland Banks, a longtime resident of Wilton, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Durham Regional Hospital.
A native of Durham County, the daughter of the late James Robert and Virginia Landon McFarland. She was of the Baptist faith and was medically retired.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
Surviving is her husband, Donny Lyon Whitfield, of the home, two sister-in-laws, Debra W. Talley (Buckey) of Wilton, Tammy Sue Whitfield of Creedmoor, father and mother-in-law, Billy and Bea Whitfield of Creedmoor, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.

I was rebeccas oldest daugher. Although she was not around for the most of my life i forgive her because she in a way made the mom that i am. I never want my kaylyn and jordan to ever doubt how much i love them. So i will say rest in peace we will be ok and thanks for that one gift u gave me.

I am becky"s sister linda coghill that they forgot to mention in the ob.she also has a brother ,doyle .and three chlidren that someone over looked.lee banks ,sharon banks and rita turner..they would liked to be reconized since they where never reconized iin her life
