Her Life
March 14, 2013

Rebecca Putnam was born in Orange County on February 13, 1975 to Michael and Linda Putnam. She was also older sister to Grace and Claire.

Rebecca was many things throughout her life, but the most notable was how hard of a fighter she was. Rebecca fought her way through more illnesses and pain than any other soul could imagine. Her passion for life showed through her artistic talents of acting, writing, and painting. Even her love for the smaller things in life, like bri cheese and ice cold milk showed her immense appreciation of living. Even though her pain and illness bogged her down often, she continued to enjoy what she could. She loved the people around her passionately, and gave so much love around her that everyone who knew her felt truly touched by her.

She was able to show people what perserverence was truly about, and that if she could survive what she was experiencing, than you could tackle any problem in the world. Rebecca was an inspiration to many, as well as a teacher, a friend, and family. Whoever she came in contact with, she made them feel instantly comfortable and at home. She had a knack of connecting with any soul that crossed her path. She could make people laugh like crazy, stand in awe, or merely silently reflect on their own lives.

I have to say, I am very proud that Rebecca was my sister and I was able to grow up beside her, even though there was much pain in watching her battles.

I love you Rebecca and I always will.

I will kiss Kiera goodnight for you every night, and I will make sure she knows who her Auntie Becka is.

Love Always,
Your Baby Sister Grace
