Hi,  wow it is 2010 now. Wishing you were here to see it also. I have been thinking of you lately.  I know you are at peace which makes me feel good. Just sad I can't  tell you that.  Have had your family on my mind, need to get in touch with them and check up to see how they are doing.. Love Sandy

Beckie = Courage

October 2, 2009

Beckie didn't know me.  In fact, none of you know me.  My "play sister" (as we sometimes refer to each other), Jenny Englund Jarvis has shared Beckie's courageous journey with me throughout its duration.  I have prayed for wisdom for her doctors, strength for her family and comfort for Beckie as she marched through and was no doubt dragged through the hard times of treatment. Jenny was faithful to keep the praying ladies of our women's ministry up to date so we could pray vigilantly.  Now that Beckie's journey has taken a turn beyond what any of us can see, I will continue to pray for each of you.  I pray that God would hold you with His comforting arms; that your tears would give way to peace; and your grief to the sweet memories that you each hold dear! God blessed you all with Beckie's love and friendship and her with your's. I pray blessings to each of you........

One Sunny Day...........

Beckie, I considered you a dear friend and a keen purchasing agent.  I will always keep the wonderful thoughts of you close to me.  I regret that we never met in person, and I wish you would have taken me up on those Talladega tickets, we would of had a blast!  From our many conversations you showed your love for life, family and your boat.  I loved your story about making your daughter drive a Fiero so she wouldn't have room for friends.  My guess is she found a way to fit more than two in at a time.  Happy  sailing my friend, I hope you always make it under the bridge before the water rises.  You are the best!

Good times

October 1, 2009

Beckie was such a great person and a really good friend to me. We became close shortly after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a tough road for her but I was so proud of her and she was so brave to have gone through what she did. I will miss our "lunch dates" and our dinners at Sagebrush with our margaritas. And of course the trip out on her boat was a great time as well. She loved that boat! I am grateful to have been her friend and I will truly miss her.

We will miss you!

The years and memories I have of being Beckie's friend. I seen all her kids being born and most of the child hood growing up. What a wonderful family she has. I have the utmost admiration for Dave. Her came into her life at the right time and was a true love of hers. Thank you Dave for being so great. I will think of you always. Wish we hadn't been apart for so long. We just got back in touch and lost you.  Rest and peace to you Beckie, I will cherish the memories we had together.    Love Sandy

I will forever miss you

October 1, 2009

I don't think Beckie truly realized how many people's lives she touched.  To pin point one memory is to hard.  Over the years we have had our share of  laughter, tears, sorrows, frustrations and many joy's as friends. When Beckie first told me she had breast cancer we cried alot, than we laughed and planned out her new body.  We had she looking like a super model.  She was one of those rare people you can say was a true friend.  kind, caring, full of laughter and smiles.  She was also stubborn, hard head and could be a total pain in the ass, but we still loved her all the more.  She was so proud of her kids, and as her grandchildren entered their lives she was the proudest grandma.  She always had new pictures to show off, and stories to share on all of grandkids new accomplishments.   Her family was her whole world.  I am so blessed that she was my friend, she has enriched my life in many ways, I will miss her, and will always hold and treasure her in my heart.
