I haven't seen you since before I left for the Army pap. But you were always amazing. You guys were a huge influence on me growing up. Just look at Erick Lee and Nathan, they took me in, protected me, taught me, and we're closer to me than 99% of my family. That is a testament to you as not only their grandfather and my pap, but also shows how great you were at raising Mom. I've never doubted how loved I was around you guys. I don't have many memories left anymore to reminisce because of brain injury crap, but there's one I remember. First, is us all tearing down the trailer between your place and mom's and right when the walls were coming down, you told me and Erick Lee to stand on the top and ride the walls down. That day was a blast.

Red Foster a man among men and bigger than life itself. I consider it a honor and privilege that you called me your friend. A man that would give you the shirt off of his back and go home and get you two more. A man gifted with wisdom that always gave you a better way at looking at things. A man that loved people with a heart bigger than anyone could ever know. I will see you at the tree my friend.

Red was a big part of my childhood and adulthood the best memory I have is going down to visit around the holidays me and red would be watching TV and it would come on about the nutcracker we would set and talk and joke about someday me and him was going to go watch it. And from that day on every year it would be the start of our conversation when we would meet up how one day we was going to go see that. He was a really great guy and I'm sure when we meet again those will be the first words he'll say.
