His Life
July 26, 2012

Reginald was born on August 5, 1988 @ 4:15pm Hermann Memorial Medical Center 9lbs11oz. My mother Willie M Robinson was living with us at the time; sitting holding Reggie sometimes all day.

His older brother Marcus use to play with him as if he was a brand new toy for him.

He was about 2 or 3 years old he would not go to bed at night until his dad got home from work 12 midnight.

His dad bought him a drum set at 2 years old he would play those drums all the time neighbors thought it was someone older but it was Reggie.  He beat the drums my lamp shades until they were tore up.

As he got older he played in the play room with his sister most of the time until she started putting him out because he was whipping her dolls. (lol)

He would say I know what I like and I know what I don't like talking about food.

He would tell me mother don't waste your money on those tennis shoes cause I don't like them and I am not going to wear them, I will wait until I can get the ones I really want.  He wouldn't let me talk him in to getting two pair instead of the one high priced Jordan shoe.  He would say no I'll wait.  So I knew that was what he really wanted; so we didn't go shopping for shoes until I was ready to spend the money on the shoe he really wanted and he would wait he wouldn't give in for the cheaper shoe.

He attended Sunday School, Children's Church and Church all his life.

He read his bible on his own as a child.  He was amazed at the stories in the bible.  I would tell him the bible has an answer for everything.

He attended Katherine Smith elementary school where he was known to be a smart boy but talk too much in class.  FM Black Middle School and graduate from Scarbrough High School where he played basketball and played the snare drum.

He went on his first cruise last year that was one of the highlights of his life, he talked about it the rest of the year planning to go this year in August.

On the way home from church we would pass these apartments and he would say one month free rent.  I said why do you keep saying that he said because I am leaving this year ; I know you don't want me to go but I am leaving this year.  I'll be back to the plaza everyday to see ya.  I said ok I hear you.

He planned to go to Miami last year 2011 but didn't go; he finally took his trip this year May 25th until May 28th 2012 and was showing us video and pictures from the trip and laughing; so happy that he went he  told me mother I can get use to this living on the beach in Miami, I said I know you could.  We laugh about it.  He said I was trying to look good riding the scooter in Miami and got a ticket.  We laugh about that being a bummer.

We were standing outside after taking his nephew to basketball practice looking at pictures again and video from Miami laughing.  Then he said he was going to the corner store Franchell and myself said dressed up like that Blue Shirt white pants and blue Gucci shoes.  He said yes I am still in my Miami vibe.  So told Franchell to move her car so he could get out.  I said I though you were not going anywhere today.  He said I'm just going to see who up there.  Left and that was our last communication.
