Renee Noel Siwarski (Turner) passed into eternal life February 5, 2015 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Dr. Merald Gilbert Turner and Elaine Minnie Turner (Woodward) on December 21, 1944. She resided in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Flint Central High School.  She graduated Cum Laude with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Science from Western Michigan State University.  She then graduated Cum Laude with honors with an advanced degree in nutrition with a Master Degree of Science from Eastern Michigan University. She worked at the University of Michigan teaching in the Psychiatry Department. Renee then moved to Venice, Florida. She worked for 25 years for the State of Florida retiring in 2009 as a Senior Health Nutritionist with the Sarasota Health Department. Renee enjoyed the home that her and husband, Glen, built in Venice. She loved her dogs, cooking, entertaining, and spending time with close family and friends at the beach.  Her love of reading was passed onto her children and friends.

Renee is survived by her husband, Glen, four children: Scott Michael of Bradenton, Florida, Andrew Glen (Sara Smith Siwarski) of Maitland, Florida, Melissa Siwarski of Venice, Florida, and  Sara (Smith) Twining (Brian  Twining) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother Michael Turner of Free Soil, Michigan, Grandchildren, Andrew Glen (AJ) Siwarski, Samuel Siwarski, Benjamin Siwarski, and Calen Twining, and Nia Twining.  A Mass will be held at the Epiphany Catholic Church, 350 Tampa Ave W, Venice, Florida, on March 5th at 10:00 a.m. by Father Eric Scanlon, Parish Priest.  Memorials may be made to Tidewell Hospice of Venice, Florida for the devotion and dedicated services to Renee and her family. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
