Renee Parker Parham, 56, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
A native of Mahoning County, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Malcolm and Doris Hute Parker. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and worked for many years with her husband in the mobile home business.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Johnny Richards and Rev. LeMar Wheeler.
Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Alex “Catfish” L. Parham of the home, a daughter, Rebekah Colinger Nelson of Oxford, a son, Ryan Derek Colinger of Lynchburg, Virginia, two step-sons, Al Parham of Oxford, Kevin Parham of Henderson, a sister, Gail P. McClain of Palm Beach County, Florida, a bother, Kim Parker of Wake Forest and five grandchildren.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the family to help with medical expenses, 2716 Davis Chapel Road, Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
Visitation 7:00 – 8:30 PM, Wednesday evening, April 3, 2013 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home.
