 Today We Mourn

All those Boxers, Trainers and Greats
In the World of Boxing Who Have Left Their Mark.

 ~*~*~*~*~*~

In Boxer's Paradise

They forever shine. Never forgotten

By the cruelty of time.

Have kept their eye on the prize

And never stepped out of place.

Kept up their courage

Before every opponent they faced.

Never backed down, never gave up,

Never flinched to earn their rightful place.

Their ring is made of gold,

Their gloves perfectly laced,

In a corner fit for a king,

A team of angels at their side

They always win, Always get the belt,

Always get the prize.

There they remain champions forever,

In Boxers Paradise.

*~*~*~*~*

Sometimes it's very hard to place ourselves outside of our own day to day lives, but no where is it more palpable than when we picture an empty boxing ring that once held a champion who worked so hard each time he got into it whether training or fighting or coaching some other up and coming fighter. That ring is empty today and every other death anniversary for every fighter that stepped into and outside of that ring. Burning brightly, however, is that single eternal flame.

Each Champion  is given a special song that we hope has meaning for him. Please take a moment to let the song play as you pay your respects to these fallen heroes. Thank you

THE BOXER'S PRAYER

        FOR SOMEHOW THAT SEEMS WRONG
           BUT ONLY FOR PROTECTION &
             COURAGE TO BE STRONG
           STRENGTH NOT TO CONQUER
BUT JUST THAT I FIGHT WELL
        AND PROVE MYSELF A SPORTSMAN

At one time, this champion lit up the ring with his light and lit up the hearts of others with his passion for boxing. For others he was an inspiration to face challenges, to achieve greatness and for so many he left a legacy. It is fitting for him to be remembered.

This Memorial Site was created to remembered departed Boxing Champions after the death of Mimi Mercuri-good friend of Eamo Clyne on March 8, 2017
