Rev Daniel Teye Ahuahey was born on Wednesday the 14th of September 1955 to Mr. Korley Ahuahey of blessed memory and Sarah Akplehe at Akplabanya – Ada in the Greater Accra Region. He is the forth born among ten sibling. He attended Aklabanya local Authority Primary and Anyamam Middle school respectively. He also attended Ho Technical institute now Ho Polytechnic and worked for a while with the Aunt who was then a building contractor.

Rev Daniel got born again in 1975 and was baptized by Rev. Michael Torsah. He dedicated his life to the service of the Lord in various aspects with commitment and dedication. He served the Ho Assemblies of God as a Sunday school teacher, a cleaner, Sunday school superintendent and a lay worker and took care of the church, when the pastor was transferred to North Kaneshie Assemblies of God.

He had the call to full time ministry and went to Southern Ghana Bible institute In the year 1979 – 1981. While in school, he was appointed the Assistant Compound Prefect in the second year and in the final year the compound prefect, a work he did to the admiration of the faculty and the student body. While in Bible school, he was in charge of the churchs as Asesewa, Sawa, Akateng Manyakongunor, Nuaso and Senchi all in the Eastern Region. After completing Bible School in 1981, he pioneered or opened the Somanya Assemblies of God. He served the Eastern Region as the Sunday School Director until he moved to Accra in 1985.

Rev. Daniel got married to Comfort Kaki Ahuahey  at Tema Central Assemblies of God in the year 1982 and have been blessed with five wonderful children namely; Daniel Junior, Peace, Joshua, David and Gifty.

          Rev. Daniel took up the Teshie pastorate after it was open a few months by Rev. Paul Aggrey and the Faith Assemblies of God in the year 1985 until his departure. He sacrificed his salary and comfort for the training of pastors, opening more churches and in the putting up of this magnificent churching building and the mission house. He trained the following Pastors. Rev. Enock Dugbatey, Rev. Stephen Okantey, the late Rev. Out, Rev. William Dogbey, Rev. W.W. Wilson Marfo, Rev. Joseph Anobil, Rev. Maxwell Obeng, Rev. Richard Tawiah, Pastor Charles Agyekum, Pastor Moses Agyiri, Pastor Christopher Nti, Pastor Robert Ofori, and Pastor Juliana Acheampong. He led the Victory Assemblies of God to open the following churches, Temple of Praise A/G, Freedom A/G, DayStar A/G, Jesus Power A/G, and Holy Spirit A/G. Further more he opened the following churches when he was the District Pastor, Redemption A/G, and House of Royal A/G. He sent a missionary in the person of Rev. Francis Ayisah Saah that resulted in the opening of four churches in the Central Region. He furthered his education at the International Theological Seminary Ghana campus in 2000 to 2004 and obtained his Bachelor and Master of Theology Degrees. He served the then Teshie-Nungua Zone as the Zonal Secretary and became the first District Pastor of the Teshie District after it was re-demarcated as a District, a position he held for several years and voluntarily stepped down during the 2005 elections. He served in several committees in the Greater Accra Region and helped solve critical problems confronting the denomination. Rev. Daniel faithfully served the Assemblies of God for over 30 years till his passing.   Rev. Daniel was affable, gentle, generous and very spiritual. He has touched lives in low and high places. He was a great pillar in his maternal and paternal families. He has sponsored the education of many, taken care of single parents, orphans and widows and provided the needs of uncountable number of people. He passed on to glory on Thursday the 19th of June 2014.  He is survived by a wife Comfort and 5 children Daniel Junior, Peace, Joshua, David and Gifty.
