THE PARADOX OF ADELOKOJI IJAOLA'S DEMISE
Painful But Thankful
For everything you have been to us your return to dust was painful but in everything we are thankful to God.
It is painful to remember your impact in raising men to fulfil God's purpose but we are thankful that you have fulfilled your part of God's purpose.
It's painful you have left without saying good bye but we are thankful you arrived at your mansion with joyful welcome.
It is painful that the Nigerian Baptist Convention have lost a BRAIN BOX in you buy we are thankful that heaven has gained a general.
It is painful to note that your children are still young and they will miss their father but we are thankful that God who made them will father them and see them through, if it were not so some of us would have been nowhere.
It is painful that your wife is now without husband but we are thankful for God is her husband and Father to the fatherless.
It's painful to affirm the reality that you joined the dead but we are thankful to affirm that you have joined the living choir in heaven.
Rev'd Dr Adelokoji Okejimi Ijaola left us in deep pain but his leaving is Praiseful for God's knows why, it is Gainful for he is with Christ and we are thankful for we will meet again.

Adelokoji Okejinmi Ijaola, (D.Min, FIIM, FIMS), One year had gone by, when you dropped out this side of eternity to return to where all of us will go, Orun dede ma kanju, Gbogbo wa l'ambo. My brother, friend, classmate, and former Director of Publications, Nigerian Baptist Convention, You were friendly, articulate, hardworking, caring, meticulous, always smiling, a Pastor of Pastors, discipler, a financial expert, and a child of God. Sleep on beloved till we meet to part no more. May the Lord grant the immediate and extended family, the Convention and the body of Christ the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Even in death, we still love you. Forever in our hearts.
