I missed a Father. So Dear, so unbroken, so chained. Though, apart for a while but the oneness can never be erased. I have struggled with avoiding writing this, I can't belief I am writing a tribute now about my beloved Brother, Friend, Pastor, Instructor, Reverend and Father, and BISHOP APOSTLE. Whatever I call you cannot bring the change. I think it is settled. God has spoken. Your labour over our souls will never be in vain. I and my family and the entire Churches are consoled by the fact that the Bible is true and every iota of it will come to pass. May we follow on faithfully until the sweet bye and bye, when the roll is called up yonder. I believe I will meet you at Jesus feet and we'll tell the story how we've overcome. See you in the morning. Your beloved brother, OMO-OBA.

His name is Stephen Oluwole Akinola, a soldier of God, a lover of humanity and a rare human being. Words have failed me to describe your persona. You loved without reservation and gave all of you for God and others. I will miss the wonderful General of God that was my uncle. I never thought you would depart so soon. I had thought you would be here for many more years, but it has pleased your maker to call you home. It is hard to grapple with this reality, but we must go on and uphold the legacy you left behind and the ideals you lived for. Good night most loving uncle, good night, you, who symbolised a new day, and may the flight of angels take thee to thine eternal rest.

A NIGHT WITH THE KING

November 2, 2021
Once upon a time, in an organised Church Workers Retreat, (either in Deeper Life retreat or early days of Redemption Ministries), after the exhaustions of the day through fasting, prayers, ministrations in word and exousia by the Spiritual General and his team of spiritual firebrands, I got fagged out and it was time to lay me to rest at night  (could be at Enitonna High School or Harbour Girls Secondary School). While I was cruising up on my well prepared blanketed school camp space, flat on the floor, with a bit of consciousness, guess who do I see by my side, the General himself! - He had preached, prayed, casted out devils and layed hands, almost vomiting his intestine in the process and just needed a place to lay his head. The Guest was too great for me to accommodate, for I was awoken by the blast of his heavy snoring sound, you know he was very good at that! My lord was a great man, AGIDIGBA. I doffed my Cap, took a bow and relocatedto share with other brothers, dedicating my palasea space to him forever thereby;  He had a sound sleep and space. Apart from this, he had been very Dear in so many ways. Sleep on Master. Shalom!
