Rex passed peacefully on August 1, 2019 at Soin Medical Center.  He was born on October 4, 1960 to Ralph and Bertha Musick in Corbin, Kentucky.  Surviving are his Wife in Christ Amy, Dayton, OH; his “babies” (Siberian Husky-Sadie and Chihuahua- T-Rex); sisters Mallie Marshall, Eaton, OH and Barbara (Steve) Jarrells, Whitley City, KY; his brother Robert (Lisa) Musick, Grandville, OH; and nephews and nieces.  Rex was preceded in death by his mother Bertha, Father Ralph, and Brother Mike Musick.

Rex had a passion for classic cars and horses.  He took his last horse ride at Wright Rehabilitation and Nursing Center a few weeks before his passing.  Before the horse ride, Rex said “I never thought I would ride a horse again”. Rex also enjoyed traveling, festivals, concerts, car shows, classic movies, and his annual trip to the Kentucky Derby with his best friend Kenny Russell.

Rex had many occupations and was considered by many as a "jack of all trades".

Rex accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was
baptized a few years ago.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Rex Musick will be held on August 24, 2019, 10:30 a.m., at Community United Methodist Church, 339 Meyer Avenue, Riverside, Ohio 45431 with Pastor Fritz Merkes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Rex and his family would very much appreciate an offering being made to his church, Community United Methodist Church (Vehicle Fund).
