I stayed up all through the night of the 5th of August, another sad period in this long lonely year of 2021 dreading the cross over into the morning of 6/8/21 because I knew I would have to face the fact that my yearly turn around act….…..Declaring The Words of God Over Her Life and Celebrating Her Happy Birthday in joy and singing is now a thing of the past.
Growing up, I’ve always believed that the most precious treasures in life can’t be bought. They are not Gold, Diamonds, Luxury Cars, Real Estate, Private Jets, Billions in the Bank Accounts ETC. I believe that the memories of precious moments and occasions, love shown and showered on a person, a home full of laughter and carefree expressions with no fear of condemnation can enrich a life so much that it is full of a bottomless archive of happy moments to tap into even at the worst of times.
Throughout life’s hardships, pains and heartbreaks, my darling soft-spoken mother Olatundun Adukę’s incredible love, unending support and encouragement steadied me. Mum was always my champion in every situation; was bigger and stronger than the mightiest of giants and ever ready to go to battle over her child.
So On This Your Special Day Darling Mother I Say:
