Rhonda Leann (Hale) Cook, age 69, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on 7/15/2023.  She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Albert F. Hale and Mary L. Hale.  She attended Huffman High School.  She worked in the hospital and restaurant industry for many years serving others.

Rhonda’s interest was evident in everything she did. She spent mutiple hours talking about her grandchildren and their interests. She served along with her mother and sister leading a Sunday school pre-school class at Robuck Baptist Church when she was younger. She was also deeply committed to volunteer work in the home she lived in over the past few years. She loved helping the other less fortunate members with daily activities such as their exercise routines, playing games and even helping room to room on visits to encourage them. She loved going on family vacations with her parents and daughter. One amazing moment that her daughter recalls is last Christmas when she was able to still skillfully play the keyboard and recall a few of her favorite songs to sing.

She is preceded in death by her husband William, father (Ferral “Bubba”), mother (Mary), Grandparents, and sisters (Sheron and Dana).  She is survived by her daughter Ronnie Ann Dean along with her husband (Bart) and grandchildren (Nolan and John Owen).  Her stepchildren are Yvonne, Paula, Mike and Alicia. Grandchildren are Tiffany, Keven, Christopher, Zachary, Brittney, Shelby and Jeremy. Also, great grandchildren are Destiny, Leighann, DJ, Pearce, Calikay, Natalie, Johnathon, and Hallie.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 20, 2023. The service will be at 5:00 pm at The Healing Place Church in Trussville, Alabama. (Family are welcome to come at 4:30)   Inlieu of graveside flowers donations can be provided if desired.

May we find comfort knowing she is at rest and healed in her heavenly home through our Lord and Savior. May we think of her often to love and honor her memory while we live our lives to the fullest. “Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him, who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness.” Psalm 33:18
