This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Rhonda Salem strickland, 53 years old, born on April 15, 1968, and passed away on August 13, 2021. We will remember her forever. My Mother was a dying breed , shes very independent.  She's the coolest mother u could possibly imagine. Shes confident and most of the time a hand full.  She is my mom..and now she is dancing in the sky.

My Ronnie.. man the days seemed to of gotten longer.. and a little harder since you went away.
I miss you like crazy.. you know this already though. I sometimes think I hear your laughter.. Sommer is a constant reminder of you and this in its self is enough for now.
I love you. I was your Lori Ann and you were my Ronnie. Things won’t be the same until we meet again.

Forever thinking of you.. Lori Ann

Mom you have always been the most coolest per ssd's on I've ever known , your life has not ever been easy , you have spent most of it away from everyone u love and hold dear, but you have always been strong , you have held your head up high and you have always been respected . You always did what u had to do, because that's what u had to do. I never heard u complain or did you ever show your struggle. I've learned so much from you throughout the years . So I just want you to know . I understand and I love you so much . You are a fucking legend. But best of all i get to call you my mother. Your a fucking boss. I love u and I miss u . U definitely made the hall of fame

Rhonda when I meet her I feal in love with her I would do anything for her. She was a very beautiful woman I loved her so much she didn't think I was but I tried hard to prove my love for her I got down and couldn't take care of myself and she stepped up and said she would I know she had love for me and I was shocked she was with a man that I didn't really have any liking to but I was doing how she wanted me to do. Rhonda we had some great times together that I will cherish for the rest of the days I will probably see you up there fairly soon baby maybe we can hang out I love you Ronnie

Her Life

Mommy

May 9, 2022
my mother had a certain life style that not everyone understands . For most of her life she was in and out of prison. She lived the way she wanted to and nothing or no one could make her do something she didn't want to. She's a strong beautiful woman. Respected by most and feard by many . Her beleafs are strong . She loved her family more then life. She has 2 sisters Kimberly goings and Rebecca strickland. Her father Roger strickland and mother Laverne Woodson. 1 niece Dana carol and 2 nephews Michael Morris and Rudy debonis 3rd. She had only one daughter sommer anne dines . That's me.  She loved to shop and she loved her eyelashes. I learned so much from her from what to do and what not to do. She taught me about respect and loyalty. She always told me "stand by what you say and do ." She also use to say "if u want it buy it"

Auntie Ronnie

May 9, 2022
Growing up, I always thought my Auntie Ronnie was the coolest. My brothers and I all would get so excited whenever she would come over, or we went to see her. Even during the times she was in jail, we always got letters and cards. For a while I considered her and I “pen pals” when I was little. I remember she came to my 8th grade promotion and she bought me a pink iPod. I was SO happy. After I had my 2nd child, I had a medical issue and needed surgery. Auntie Ronnie and Auntie Becky traveled from Arkansas to me in California to help take care of me and my babies. Auntie Ronnie fell head over heals in love with my daughter, Riley, who was 4 months old. She said she felt this strong bond with her, she called her “my Riley Girl”. Riley also felt a strong bond with her. To this day she still talks about her, and even calls Sommer Auntie Ronnie on accident sometimes. Auntie Ronnie loved all of my kids, Matthew, Riley, and Rowen. I was pregnant with my 4th Patrick when she got sick, but I know she’d love him just as much too. I miss my Auntie all the time and think about her often. She was a very well loved woman. She was smart, had a big sense of humor, and was beautiful. I hope she’s being herself up there in Heaven and looking down after us. If anyone is gonna help God protect our family, it’s her ❤️
