"I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. Now all I have is memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart!"

I have to share a wedding story with everyone. Leading up to my wedding, I was very nervous. For one, I was getting married (ha) and second, my Dad was not going to be physically there to give his baby girl away.
Clouds and rain were what the forecast was calling for. It started off cloudy in the morning, then poured, then went back to clouds. As Chuck and I were saying our vows, sunlight poured through the church. It was such a beautiful moment and I held back tears knowing that that was Dad's way of showing he was right beside me.
I miss you so much Dad and wish I could take you in my arms. I dream of you often and think of you always. Keep giving me signs as it brings me great comfort. Love you Daddy!
This was a beautiful day that I had a chance to spend with loved ones. I am so thankful Dad was able to come out and enjoy my birthday and graduation. On this day, we went down to Chicago, toured Navy Pier, saw Clydesdale horses, and went out to eat at Bubba Gump's. I will never forget this day and will forever cherish these memories!
