Dick was a great man, friend, and patriot. I knew Dick from our days at St. Xavier High School. Through Dick's generosity and leadership with Impact A Hero, he donated his time and passion via providing a true United States Military Veteran Hero come and speak to our wrestling team (St. Xavier H.S.) regarding living life as a Man For Others (St. Xavier mantra). I will never forget Dick, his passion, leadership, generosity, and friendship! He and his family are in my prayers.

Dick was the first person to greet me at the door of high school and we remained long standing friends. Dick was an extremely talented individual on many levels and was always positive, fun and driven. He has helped so many in life and his energy, enthusiasm and spirit will live forever. Dickie was a football teammate and frat brother at Brown University. He always had a smile on his face and possessed a tireless enthusiasm that positively impacted those around him. And he was a tough nosed competitor on the football field. We kept in touch through the years and he was always the same. His support of wounded warriors was unwavering and brought so many people together for an amazing cause. We will all miss having Dickie in our lives. RIP Brother.

How can we not mention his tireless efforts for wounded veterans and his leadership as CEO of Impact a Hero? Dickie gave of himself to ensure that our wounded warriors got to bask in a little limelight that is so often reserved for our professional athletes. Athletes like PGA TOUR golfer Ben Crenshaw and NFL players Jim McMahon, Christian Okoye, even President George W. Bush and many others would give of their precious time to honor the sacrifices of our wounded veterans, thanks to Dickie "Connecting the Dots" as his published book describes. So honored to have been a friend, teammate, and classmate of this fine fellow Ohioan who would do anything to help friends connect and help wounded veterans receive the recognition they so richly deserve! RIP Dickie! Til Valhalla!

Dick was a Brother of mine at Phi Delt fraternity at Brown University. Larger than life personality, he seemed to always have a smile on his face and was enthusiastic about everything!  My best remembrances were around hanging out at the frat in the spring time when his football season and my hockey season were over - we could relax and had a ton of fun. We've stayed in touch through social media, and it was wonderful to follow Dick's drive and determination around supporting the wounded warriors. RIP Brother!
