I was sorry to hear about Richard's passing and I am sorry for his family's loss. I met Richard in Costa Mesa CA in 2002 and he came to work for my company as a loan officer. We then both started a student loan company in 2004 at which time Richard move to Florida to run the corporate office while I stayed at our Newport Beach CA office. I again met up with Richard when he moved back to California in 2007. We stayed in contact over the years and he was a dear friend to me and would do anything to help a friend out. I have many found memories of our times together and he was very generous man and I will miss him.

Richard, you have left Joe and I with many great memories. From our weddings, to raising our children and bonding when the Sherman family was all together. Laughing over funny Christmas gifts, shooting off fireworks and raising hell with your brother-in-laws. Let us not forget your 40th Birthday party and our family trip to Florida!  A piece of our family was lost when you left Hoosick Falls. Your absence was felt then, but even more so now, knowing that you will not return. May you rest in peace under God's care. Love always, Pat and Joe

A few more things...

August 19, 2017

I forgot to mention my father's love for coffee... lots and lots of coffee daily. (If he wasn't drinking coffee, he was probably drinking vodka, which brought out his fabulous dance moves!) He had an amazing sense of humor and a laugh I'll never forget.
