Richard Lee Hartley, 88 years old, was born on October 10, 1932 in Arcanum, Ohio, and passed away on July 25, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hartley; his parents, Dorotha and Charles Hartley; and his brother, James Hartley. Richard is survived by his caring children, Rick Hartley and Chris (Mark) Hartley; his nephew, Mike Hartley; his grandchildren, Jason, Josh, and Tosha; his great-grandchildren, Vincent, Savannah, Kylie, Cassy, Nathan, Haley, Wyatt, and Alessandra; 1 great-grandchild, Haven; his brother in-laws, Tim Stafford, Mike Stafford, and Jack Stafford; his sister in-laws, Sandy Stafford, Pam Stafford, and Faye (Frank) Bales, and a host of family and friends. Richard will be greatly missed. A service to honor his memory will be held at W. E. Lusain Funeral Home, 2455 Stanley Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45404 on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 3-5 PM.
