All I know is that he was a devoted husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He made a lasting Impression on anyone who met him. Glad I had the opportunity to have met him.

Dad, you raised me to be your tough, strong, independent girl, but, unfortunately never prepared me for this, I miss you so much already daddy, and wish I could call and tell all about it. I will take heart knowing you are watching over us, as you always have, only now from a better place! Love you Daddy - your little sweety pie!

Dick Gray..................you and Judy were two of the first people I got to know and become long-times friends with when I moved to Florida more than 16 years ago. I remember enjoying Edgewater's Dinners for Eight with you and, especially, your jambalaya. I remember interviewing Sam and talking to you about your dedication to Sam and other young boys that you were coaching - a dad and granddad all wrapped up into one. Couldn't tell where one began and the other ended. Judy and you will be in my heart forever. I can not imagine how wonderful it must be being with the Father and celebrating your new life eternal.

We are sad at Dick's passing and will miss him greatly. In Heaven there are sounds of rejoicing from family members who are welcoming him home. Dick sold us our home and we have enjoyed 14 years of friendship with him and Judy from that transaction. We send our love, prayers and condolences to Judy and the wonderful family he loved so much. May the Lord comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Dick was a great help when I came to Edgewater. He worked hard and stepped up in many different ways. I am greatly appreciative for his support and assistance. He was a good man who gave freely of himself. Dick and Judy were an important part of the turn around of the church. We Christians grieve but not as those who have no hope. The resurrection makes all of the difference!
