My Father

December 8, 2013

My father was born in New york on june 22, 1958. he lived there until he was 10 (after his father passed away) then he moved to PA. He finished his schooling then went to college for eletrical wiring. then he went to a different college and went for machanics. After He Graduated he begain working at a body shop working on cars he did that for ten years. then he met my mother and they were married. My mother had gone to the Military (Army) and my father had to stay up here during basics training. Then after basic my father went down to clarksvill tennesse where my mom was stationed at. then my mother was pregnat with me and on september 8, 1995 i was born and my dad always told me it was the best day of his life. he had a little girl and he was happy. the first year of my life my father raised me. he took very good care of me while my mom was still in the military. then we moved back up to PA because my mother wanted to be close to her family. so we moved to a small town called Donora. that is when my father begain having medical problems. as i got older my parents had another baby my little brother Jonathan. my dad picked his name out. me and my dad taught my brother how to walk we made a game out of it and my little brother loved it. as we got older me and my brother would argue and fight so my dad took us to mcdonalds every day so my mother could sleep after she got off work. My dad then got a job at Sony for a few years. he was let go do to "to many employees" as he would put it. but he did something else he fixed on cars it was his passion. he would by a car and fix it up and sell it. he even fixed up a motorcycle to. he kept that though. when i was twelve he had two liver transplants. he lived but was in alot of pain after the transplant he had a broken hip, two knee surgaries, a back surgary, and had all of his teeth removed. but he still wanted to fix things he fixed the back door and my grandmothers sink before he went to his last surgary an aortic valve transplant. he had that transplat but got worse his heart and liver and kidneys were shutting down we were suppost to lose him that night but my dad is a fighter and fought threw it. he had his ups and downs recovering but it was looking for the better until he got a fungal infection and it went through out his body. the doctors said there was nothing they could do and my dad passed away. we all miss him dearly and we will always remember him.
