Richard S. Shaw age 75 passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda; 3 step-children: Brian Jackson(Marsha), Shawn Jackson (Chrissy), and Janet J. Moore; 7 grandchildren: Kayla Berry(Chris), Heather Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, Chase Moore and Carmen Moore and 1 great-grandson, Jackson Berry; His Brother Jerry L Shaw (Ester) and a niece Cherie and a nephew J.J.Shaw also survive him. There will be an immediate family only ceremony of life and placing of the ashes. Richard was born in Wilsonville, AL where his heart remained. He was well known and loved by his community and will live on in many memories.

Brenda, my heart hurts for you and your family. Richard aka Big Baby was such a big teddy bear. Bill used to talk about the times he and Richard spent together. He had such good memories of Richard. You are in my thoughts and prayers darling. I love you.

I will always remember him for the laughs and the jokes. He always made me laugh. I just loved him. He loved our community and he loved Brenda. I will truly miss him. Rest in peace my sweet friend.

Sorry for your loss, I have know Sylvester all my life we have had some good laugh and good times together as friends he use to come and play cards at my house with me and my late husband (Carl) he was a great man and friend, R.I.P MY FRIEND.
