Tommy Emmert (Richard Thomas John Emmert) 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2023, after a quick and aggressive battle with lung cancer.

Tommy was born on February 15, 1978, to Richard Emmert and Debra Bardis in Hamilton, Ohio. After Tommy graduated from Northwest High School in 1996, he went on to become a successful and hardworking entrepreneur. He and his business partner, Brad Weaver, owned and operated B&T Custom Tile for 23 years.

In 1996, Tommy met Bethany Earls while at Northwest High School. The two fell madly in love and dated for the next 8 years before they married in 2004. Tommy and Bethany went on to have 3 sons, Jacob, Eli and Ethan. Tommy was an incredibly devoted and loving husband. He and Bethany enjoyed spending time in nature, laughing together, traveling, and using their creative talents to design their home together. His children meant the world to him, and he often spent his time doing Boy Scout activities such as volunteering, camping and fishing with Jacob, cheering on the sidelines at Eli's soccer games and drawing or building Legos with Ethan.

Tommy had an incredible sense of humor and a laid back love for life. His favorite thing to do was spending his time loving his family, which was obvious to all who knew him. He was also a loyal and supportive friend to anyone who was blessed to have him in their lives. He was the first to offer help with any need, and never asked for anything in return.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Richard Emmert and survived by his wife, Bethany Emmert, and their 3 children, Jacob, Eli and Ethan. He will be missed by many, including his mother, Debra Oliver; his sisters, Pamela Wright and Ericka Morgan; as well as his brothers, Christopher Emmert and Andrew Emmert. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Deborah Earls; his father-in-law, Danny Earls, and his wife Patricia; his brothers-in-law, Brandon Earls and Benjamin Earls; and many more, including the family's pup, Scout.
A Celebration of Life reception will be held at Centerpointe Christian Church, 5962 Hamilton Mason Rd., Liberty Twp., Ohio 45011 (entrances C, D and E) on Saturday March 18th, from 12-3, with a brief service at 1:00. It is casual dress. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Emmert Family Fund at North Side Bank & Trust Company, 8615 Shepherd Farm Dr., West Chester, OH, or their GoFundMe account set up to help support his 3 young boys. Donations can be made online at https://www.gofundme.com/f/emmert-family or in person via cash/check on the day of The Celebration of Life.

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Richard Emmert, 45 years old, born on February 15, 1978, and passed away on February 19, 2023. We will remember him forever.
